Nathan watched Alex sleep, she looked so peaceful he found himself gently kissing her lips.

"Sleep peacefully my sweet girl," he said. He got out of bed and took a shower then got dressed.

Roy was waiting outside the car when Nathan walked out.

"I want this done quickly I need to get back to Alex before she wakes up," he said getting into the car.

"Yes, boss"Roy answered.

Soon they arrived at his company. "Has he arrived yet?" he asked the waiting Becca.

"Yes, we have him waiting in the room" she answered... Nathan walked into the elevator.

When he walked into the room he saw James down on the couch.

He smirked, "I see you made yourself comfortable, Mr Hurks"

James was up the moment his voice was heard.

"Mr Livingston" he muttered.

Nathan sat down looking at him, "Say what brought you here, I need to get back home to my girlfriend" he said.

"My father said you requested to see me about our company," James said.

Nathan gazed at him and sighed getting up...

"I don't think you know what brought you here exactly, so instead of wasting my time, I will be leaving," he said.

James got up trying to stop him, "Mr Livingston am sorry I will get to the point now"

Nathan turned nit going back to his seat, "Okay, go ahead"

"Am sorry about Alex" Nathan's eyes turned cold and James stammered, "Am sorry I meant Miss White?" he said.

"I was young and foolish & I didn't know it would cause any harm to her," he said.

"You don't even know the extent of fear and guilt your foolish act did to her. Alex has been keeping that memory torturing her every single day and night that she thought my love for her wasn't even worth her. You almost made me lose a chance of love cause of your childish acts" he said.

"Am sorry Nathan, I really didn't mean it"

"Didn't mean it, you. Even after knowing she was with me you still tried to provoke and remind her of that filthy day. How dare you do that fully conscious she was mine now" Nathan glared. "We both know a sorry won't be enough"

James felt his body tremble, Nathan had a smile on his face but his eyes held something dark it made James fall to his knees

"Please, you can do anything to me I promise to make it up to her but do help my father and the company, it's on the last straw" he begged.

Nathan moved back before James could touch him, and his bodyguards came in pushing him back.

He sighed finally sitting back down.

"I would not have involved it if it was the light case but my girlfriend has been suffering with this demon for years and you were far away enjoying your life" Nathan scoffed, "And now you're saying I help you".

"It was me who made the mistake not my father or the company, please am begging you," James said. He knew who Nathan was and he wasn't taking any chances of being arrogant not with everything at stake. Even when he was aboard he had all the news about him. He wasn't someone to play with, everyone knew who they were and how much the higher respected their family. So if he marked them as enemies then everyone would abandon them.

James knew all the things he had would disappear, he would rather beg than lose all of it. He was that selfish and he knew it.

"Am willing to do anything, please just forgive me for what I did" James pleaded.

"Let me think about it," he said, "Now I have to leave, you have wasted enough of my time" Nathan walked out.
