Unbound Familiar

An avid gamer nerd's dreams come true in another brutal yet lucky? fashion. Follow him as he does his best not to die in laughably humiliating ways, all while trying to escape his abrupt and unwanted servitude. Will his knowledge of the world he finds himself help him succeed? Will he return home? Will evolve past his title of 'Dog'? Read and find out! This will be another multiversal world-hopping story, similar to my other one, EBW. I'll not spoil the surprise of the first world, but Skyrim will eventually be involved... And no, I'll not be adhering to plot, instead destroying it and hopefully not butchering the original story in the process. Smell of Progress!

Once Michael had completed the disgusting work of removing the armour, he makes his way over to Derflinger and sheathes the sentient blade before sitting on the empty tomb to quickly check his status. Certainly, the amount of strive he'd just gone through demanded an adequate reward... Aside from the armour, weapons, etc...

Well, that was reward enough he supposed. Six levels and a shit ton of stats, especially the boosts to his Strength and Intelligence, which were by far the hardest stats for him to level.

He uses his Anti-Mage skill points to upgrade Mana Break, Blink, and Counter Spell. To be honest, if he hadn't had the latter skill, he might've been killed outright by the Draugr's shouts alone. Getting instantly frozen, having his arm torn off from the disarm shout, or simply being crushed under the weight of its Unrelenting Force shout.

He was just lucky he hadn't run into more than one of them, otherwise he'd have been truly fucked. His last play would've been to cast Mana Void, but the creature hadn't used any mana, since the Thu'um didn't require Magicka to work in the first place. Yeah, that was a close call... Maybe he should've listened to Valga and brought some help with him... Yeah, he'd do that next time.

He swaps out his clothes for something less blood covered and glances around the room for an exit, knowing from the game that most tombs had a secret passage leading out of the place... He certainly didn't want to trek through this maze again.

Three minutes later, he finds a strangely placed chain that didn't look as if it was used for the entrance to the room, and upon being pulled, it caused a large hidden stone door to raise and reveal the exit.

"Er, Partner?" Derflinger asks from his hip as they make their way out of the dungeon.

"What is it? I thought you'd have been thanking me by staying quiet?" Michael sarcastically asks, "I could still use you the next time I find some nice armour on a Draugr..."

"N-no! I-I was just going to say... That you stink! You smell of rotten meat, an old man's house, and the slaughterhouse!"

...

Michael gives a sniff under his arm and grimaces, yeah, he'd tried to stay as clean as possible when carving the rotten flesh away from the armour, but it seems that it hadn't been enough. "To be honest, I didn't think you could smell anything... You don't exactly have a nose."

Derflinger clacks its mouth-thing in annoyance, "Of course I can smell. I usually just don't mention it! Your hip is close enough to your ass to make me wish I was dead! But it's better than being left in a rotting carcass when I've annoyed you enough!"

Michael crooks a brow, "Whatever... Fancy a bath when we get back?"

"DO I!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The exit to the tomb was a small stone platform overlooking Falkreath... Yeah, if he'd had known of it beforehand he wouldn't have walked all the way around to the north side of the mountain to enter the tomb.

It was early in the morning, meaning he'd left his companions at the Dead Man's Drink for half a day or so. Hopefully, they were still fine, otherwise he'd be showing whoever drew his ire what happens when you get blasted in the mouth with a dozen Ether Shock spells... Or maybe get your cock and balls gripped by his Shackles.

Before anything though, he makes sure to take a dip in one of the nearby streams to wash all the dirty, blood, and other gunk on him. He wasn't sure if Falkreath even had a bathhouse, so he'd rather just bath in the freezing cold water than risk disgusting everyone in town by his stench.

Soon enough though, he makes it back to the inn and enters inside, only to find Valga having a disagreement with someone... Who was getting kind of grabby with Illococoo who was just standing there with an irritated expression, not understanding a single thing either person said.
