A Bizarre Day

Yose moves into a combat stance as he locks eyes with the impurity, his gaze unblinking and determined. Avinash, seeing his opponent preparing himself, takes a step forward as well, also adopting a combative stance. The tension in the air is almost palpable as the two square off, ready to do battle. Let's see what my life-force energy is capable of! Yose begins to focus his life-force energy on his right arm. Not knowing what to do, Avinash only watches waiting for Yose to act first. The limb becomes harder, its substance transforming into a hardened metallic surface. The appearance of the right arm transforms in tandem with the increased hardness. The once regular looking limb now is twice it's size and glimmers with the metallic sheen of metal. The texture becomes harder and more durable, perfect for handling a physical confrontation. The life-force energy coursing through the arm is also visibly visible, giving the hardened limb an almost otherworldly, mechanical look. The transformation of the arm eventually continues and it becomes the same color as Yose's life-force energy. The transformation slowly continues as the change in the arm's coloration begins to take hold. The metallic sheen now takes on a color similar to Yose's life force energy, matching the shade perfectly. The combination of the hardened surface and the matching color gives the limb a rather surreal, otherworldly appearance. Yose clenches and unclenches his hand, testing his newfound power. He then grins and looks at Avinash. "Let's start, I'll exorcise you and the cursed spirits all around us." "We'll see about that."

Yose lunges at one of the cursed spirits, his metallic right arm poised to strike. The cursed spirit doesn't even have time to react as Yose brings his hardened arm down on it, impacting the cursed spirit with a heavy blow. The cursed spirit screams in pain, its physical form suddenly disintegrating into cursed energy as it's hit by the metallic limb. Its energy scattered, the spirit is unable to hold its form and dies, leaving nothing but a clump of life-force energy on the floor. The metallic limb continues its rampage, smashing through each cursed spirit with ease. The spirits have no answer for the durability of the limb, and one by one they fall against the unrelenting strikes from the metallic limb. Yose's movements are swift and precise, each move planned out with an eye for efficiency and precision. As the cursed spirit population dwindles further, the metallic limb continues its ruthless march, leaving nothing but cursed energy clumps in its wake. The metallic limb continues its rampage, slamming through the cursed spirits with ruthless precision. Even the spirit that was able to react with a counterattack earlier can't seem to find a way through the durable metal. As the cursed spirit population dwindles further, the limb continues on, leaving nothing but cursed energy clumps and lifeless corpses in its wake. The metallic limb continues to deal devastating blows to the spirits, striking relentlessly and efficiently, leaving no chance of recovery or escape. The cursed spirit population begins to dwindle even further, until finally, only Avinash remains. Yose breathes heavily due to running but still gets into his fighting stance again to fight Avinash once and for all. But then suddenly a man walks into the scene who Yose has never seen before. Yose has his attention quickly focused on the man who just walked into the scene. His grip on his metallic limb tightens as he glares at him, his expression one of confusion and suspicion. "Who are you?" He demands, his voice sharp as he gazes at the man. "None of your business." He grabs Avinash's arm and disappears into darkness as if they just vanished in mere seconds. Despite his best effort though, he's unable to detect anything at all, and they completely vanished as if they never existed here seconds ago. Yose scowls, his expression one of frustration as he stares at the spot where the two of them had been standing just a moment ago. I don't know who he was but he is up to no good. My mission is complete for now, every cursed spirit is exorcised which was the reason I came here. Yose stops using his metal arm and takes other talisman out from his pocket therefore deciding to exit Naraka. Yose exits the place, now intent on returning to Mr. Hideo so he can report the completion of his mission.

He walks out the gate and begins to walk. As he walks, he continues to think about the man who interrupted the fight. His actions seemed ominous and suspicious in nature, and he can't shake the feeling that he's up to something. Still, he can't sense any life-force energy on him. He completely vanished without a trace, as if he didn't exist at all. While he is crossing a small bridge above water. He sees that a girl is falling to the water right from the air. Yose is suddenly distracted as he sees a girl falling from the air, right towards the water below. He reacts instinctively, runs to catch the girl, managing to catch her just before she falls into the water. The girl looks up at Yose, a surprised look on her face. After a moment of hesitation, Yose releases his grip on her. The girl gets to her feet, brushing herself off as she looks at Yose. "You're lucky that I was here," Yose says to the girl, looking at her with a solemn and serious expression. "What were you doing so high up in the air just now?" he continues, sounding more like a concerned parent than a methodologist. The girl doesn't reply, continuing to brush herself off as she stares up at Yose. After a few seconds, she finally speaks in a soft voice.

"I.. fell."

The girl looks to be in her late teens or early twenties, her small stature and childish demeanor making her seem much younger than she actually is. She has long dark hair falling past her shoulders in a soft, wavy style, her bangs framing her face in a cute and youthful manner. Her bright green eyes are framed by lush eyelashes, giving her a look of innocence and helplessness. She stands at a modest height of around 5'4, her petite frame making her look delicate and fragile in comparison to Yose's towering presence.

"Fell? Fell from where exactly? There is nothing up in the air or somewhere where you could fall from." She doesn't respond and decides to change subject. She takes out a hand-drawn map from her pocket and shows it to Yose. "I am supposed to go there. Do you know where it is?"

"That's the school I go to." Yose responds with a smile. "Can we go there?" "Of course, I don't mind going there with you." "Before that, what's your name anyway? Mine is Yose." She looks at him in the eyes and responds, "Kamiya Yuki, call me Yuki please." "Pleasure to meet you, Yuki."

Avinash disappears into the darkness with the unknown woman. Yose meets Yuki. What happens next?
