In his quest to uncover the academy's hidden secrets, Jake stumbled upon an expansive hall. Its grandeur was unmistakable, filled with an array of training equipment. A sign overhead proclaimed it as the Hall of Elemental Techniques for Air Users. It was in this very hall that he chanced upon Chi Chi Taichi, deeply engrossed in her practice.

Jake watched in awe as Chi Chi executed graceful martial arts and acrobatic maneuvers, deliberately refraining from utilizing her elemental abilities. Her movements exuded a serene confidence as she gracefully overcame each training obstacle. Unbeknownst to her, she had an audience in Jake.

Lost in her training, Chi Chi continued to push her limits, deciding to take it a step further by blindfolding herself. With unwavering determination, she tackled increasingly challenging obstacles with ease.

Then, in a heart-stopping moment, a sharp projectile hurtled toward Chi Chi. Jake, fearing for her safety, instinctively rushed forward, attempting to rescue her from potential harm. But he had no inkling of Chi Chi's intentions.

However, Chi Chi, attuned to her surroundings even without sight, detected Jake's intervention. The sharp object sped menacingly toward her, and just as Jake attempted to intervene, Chi Chi, her senses finely attuned, swiftly evaded the danger. Using her air manipulation technique, she deftly redirected him out of harm's way and effortlessly deflected the object and captured it mid-air simultaneously.

In the aftermath of this near-miss, Chi Chi removed her blindfold, her irritation evident as she saw Jake sprawled on the floor. Her frustration spilled over, and she berated him for interfering in her rigorous training, branding him a pervert for good measure.

Elemental and non-elemental users, including earth, water, fire, and air users, had assembled for the impending test. The test was structured as a tournament, with participants either conceding defeat or falling out of the ring. They received instructions not to employ their most powerful techniques but were free to use any other methods at their disposal. With that, the test commenced.

The first match featured Chi-Chi Taichi, an elemental air user from the Air Land, pitted against Santa Maguire, an elemental fire user hailing from a noble family in the Fire Land. "During such gatherings, non-elemental users who are willing to challenge elemental users in trials might get the chance," Anya Thai added.
