chapter 30 you can't cook

    Joo hyuk nodded and he was about to follow " Anna you are fired" alex angrily said. It was as if I was poured cold water, how can I get fired at the first day of my job, my eyes were swelling up.

      Joo hyuk didn't say anything, he just left me " Alex please don't do this to me" I said sounding pathetic.

       " You are a tyrant Anna, so you don't need money and I know you can't cook, so why are you here?" He ask trying to cool himself down.

       " Because, because, because...."you my trail went off.

        " Thought so, pack your things and leave Anna" Alex said coldheartedly.

        " What can I do so you will let me work here?" I asked calmly.

         " Nothing anna, just go home" Alex said coldly.

       " Am begging you Alex, please let me work for just one month, please only month" I said almost crying.

         He just let out a sigh and he began to scratch his hair, thereby scattering it and some part fell on his face, what a sight to behold, he was wearing a black long coat on top of a black pants, and a total neck white sweater was underneath the coat.

         " Okay fine, one month for you to work here" he said with an expressionless face and he walked out on me. I let out a sigh of relief, I didn't even notice that I was holding my breath all this while waiting for his answer.

        " At least have got one month, let make it useful" I said to myself.

        In the evening I left and I went home, I was exhausted. My mom and seo ri were waiting for me, it was already to eleven.

        As soon as I entered inside the house " where have you been Anna " my mom asked looking worried.

      " Oh I forgot to tell you guys that am working, so please don't wait for me" I said tiredly.

       " You are working? Where?" Seo ri asked being surprised.

      " That is a secret for now, so good night, see you guys tomorrow" I tiredly said. I left them and I went to my room, I couldn't wait for tomorrow, as soon as I close my eyes the darkness took over.

       We were already in class and I noticed seo ri was always looking at me, so when we were eating lunch, she let out her curiosity.

       " Um how come you don't pester Alex anymore?" She asked looking at me.

     " I just accepted the fact that he was not meant for me" I said simply, as I shove the hamburger inside my mouth.

       She was staring at me for a long time " but why can't I believe you?" She asked.

        " I don't know seo ri maybe it because you think am still greedy and stupid" I said calmly.

        " Hmm, but I think you still are" seo ri blunted out.

        I just gave her an intense gaze and I could see she was nervous" so how is things with you and woo bin" I said trying to change the topic, Because I hate the fact that she knows me to that extent.

      " Not well Anna, things with him has become up and down recently" she answered me sadly.

        " Too bad you are going to be stuck up with him, or?" I said smiling mischievously.

      " I don't like that smile Anna, or what? What are you suggesting I should do?" She asked feeling confused.

         " Let do something that we make you guys break off your engagement" I said smirking. She just stared at me in total anger " come on it will be better for you two" I added.

       " No thank you, you are the worst person ever" she said with some much anger and resentment, and she stood up and walked away " hey, I was only trying to help, well thanks for the extra food" I said sarcastically.
