Married

When they arrived, Ivan took Vivian straight to the county's headquarters's office.

Making Vivian sign the form without giving her no time to think about it.

"Are we done now?"

"Of course not. We'll have to take wedding photos."

"Wedding picture?"

"Yes."

"Can we take it later? I want to look pretty in the picture."

Vivian was getting hungry. Plus, she doesn't even have any makeup on right now and if they're going to take wedding pictures, she wants to look good in the photo.

Ivan understood what Vivian meant. With a smile on his face, he took Vivian's hands in his. "Don't worry. I got everything ready."

"Huh?"

"The stylist and makeup artist are waiting for you in the vip room."

'The hell? They have a stylist, makeup artist, and vip rooms here? I'm already tired from all the shopping earlier and now I have to waste more time to get ready for the photoshoot?'

"Sigh! Ok. Let's hurry then. If they can't finish in thirty minutes, let's take the picture next time.

"As you wish."

Just as Vivian wanted. Everything was ready in thirty minutes. They ended up taking a few pictures together before they left.

And of course Vivian and Ivan had them send the pictures in their phone and emails before they left the building.

As soon as they stepped out of the building, Vivian turned to face Ivan. "Can we go grab something to eat now? I'm starving. We haven't eaten anything since morning and it's already past lunchtime now."

Ivan feels bad after hearing Vivian's words. She is right. They haven't eaten anything all day long. He forgot about the food since he was so eager to get the marriage certificate.

And he feels like he's already full since he got what he wanted. Of course he's full, full of happiness that he's not hungry at all.

He was going to go get something to eat after they left the hidden place but since Vivian was sound asleep, he didn't have the heart to wake her up.

Thinking that he'll just go eat after they go shopping but he didn't know that shopping would take so long and worry that they don't have time to go get their marriage certificate. That's why he rushed to the county office as soon as possible.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Anything. I feel like I can swallow the whole elephant right now."

Taking Vivian's hand. They then started walking hand in hand to Ivan's car. "Let's go eat then."

"Let's go to the nearest restaurant."

"Ok."

Ivan started driving while Vivian started searching for the nearest restaurant around the area.

Not long after, she found an old small restaurant not that far from where they were at. She has been to this place a few times before and the food there was really good.

Vivian was glad that the restaurant popped up when she was searching for the nearest restaurants around the area. It's only a five minute drive.

"Let's go to this place." Vivian sent the restaurant location to Ivan's phone.

Without saying anything, he nodded his head lightly while he clicked on his phone, clicked on the location and headed to the restaurant.

Not long after, they reach their destination.

It's a small restaurant. No rich people come to eat here. But the restaurant was full of people.

When they walked into the restaurant, an elderly woman greeted them warmly and led them to an empty table.

She's in her eighties and has run this restaurant with her dearest husband since after their kids settled down.

The elderly woman could tell by the clothes they wore and the car they drive that they are not ordinary people because ninety-nine percent of people who come to eat at this restaurant are workers, lower class people, etc….

She smiles at Ivan and Vivian. "What would you guys like to order?"

Smiling ear to ear at the elderly woman."I'll have the same as last time."

The smile on her the elderly face didn't fade. "Anytime you come here, you always get the same thing."

"What can I do when the food here is so good!"

"I'm happy to hear that you like the food here." She then turned to Ivan. "What about you young man?"

"I'll have the same thing."

Since Ivan has never been here before he doesn't know what to get. That's why he ended up getting the same thing as Vivian.

"Alright." She then walked to the kitchen,

Vivian looks at Ivan with a worried expression. "Are you sure you want to eat the same as me? There are much more delicious foods that you can try."

Ivan smiles at her. "I'm sure."

Not long after, the elderly woman came back with a bowl of pho and behind her was a elderly man with a bowl of pho in his hands.

They placed the dish in front of Vivian and Ivan. The elderly man turned to face Vivian with a smile on his face. "Vivi, when do you plan to start dating my grandson?"

Ivan doesn't feel good after hearing what the elderly man said. He felt that Vivian was too popular around men and he was sure that many men out there were hitting on her that he didn't know about.

Vivians face blushed slightly red in embarrassment. She took a quick glance at Ivan then turned to face the elderly man with an awkward smile on her face. "Mr. Lee! Stop joking around."

"I'm not joking. I'm serious. My grandson is only five years older than you. He has a stable job, handsome, tall, well built, etc…."

The elderly woman took Vivian's hand in hers. "That's right Vivi, you guys are going to be the perfect match made in heaven. And when you guys have kids, they're going to be the cutest."

"That's right Vivi. My grandson is the CEO of a big company. If you marry him, you won't live a hard life."

Vivian could see that Ivan didn't feel good and comfortable after hearing what the elderly couple said.

She smiles at them warmly. "I'm already married."

The elderly woman makes a sad face. "Stop lying Vivi. We know that you're not married yet. You can just tell us the truth if you don't like our grandson. There's no need to lie to us."

Shaking her head. "I'm not lying to you guys. You guys showed me his picture before. Just like you guys said, he's tall and handsome…"

"You just agree with us that he's tall and handsome. Then why did you lie and not want to be with him?"

"That's because I'm really a married woman. The man sitting in front of me is my husband."

The elderly couple turned to look at Ivan.

At first they didn't pay much attention to him thinking that he must've been Vivian's coworker. They could tell that he's much older than Vivian.

With a smile on her face, the elderly woman let go of Vivian's hand. "I see. Then if he mistreats you, divorce him and marry my grandson. You know we really like you and you're like our real granddaughter."

The smile on Vivian's face didn't fade. "Of course. If he treats me poorly, I'll divorce him right away."

Vivian then turned her head to look Ivan in the eyes with a loving smile on her beautiful face. "But, I knew that would never happen. Because he's not that kind of person. If I'm not a hundred percent sure about his feelings, I won't end up being his wife."

The elderly couple could see that the young couple love each other dearly. Their eyes were filled with love.

They stopped bothering Vivian and Ivan.

After the elderly couple left them alone, they started eating their food.

Ivan was surprised that the food was so good. He has never tried anything like this before.

At first Ivan was in a bad mood when the elderly couple kept pestering Vivian to be with their grandson but after hearing Vivian's words, his mood lifted up and he feels like he should treat Vivian better than before.

He is sure that one wrong move and Vivian will be gone from his life.

They just got their marriage certificate but there's already someone hoping for them to break up so that they can get the chance to get Vivian's attention.
