Anxiety

Everyone was back to focusing on their foods once again. But Vivian didn't touch her food. She wondered what went wrong.

The more Vivian thinks about it, the more uneasy she feels.

Vivian just hopes that Ivan won't show up or if he does, he'll be a few minutes late. No, she wishes that he'll be just a few seconds late so that she'll find an excuse to make him leave.

'Ugh… What have I done? How am I going to face Ivan again after what happened and after what I've done to him? I can't believe I asked him to appear before me in three minutes after I told him not to show up in front of me again.'

Vivian was anxious. She was not sure what she was doing. She can't believe herself that she called Ivan without thinking.

'Please don't show up. If you do, I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold my feelings."

Wasting no time, Vivian took out her phone and started texting Ivan. 'I'm sorry, I just want to tell you that, you don't need to show up. I called without thinking.'

"Too late. I'm already here."

Vivian flinched and looked up when she heard a familiar voice.

Everyone turned their heads to look at the man who was standing next to their table.

Standing there was a big tall handsome man. His eyes were looking straight at Vivian.

They are shocked to see that the business tycoon did show up just like Vivian said he would.

They thought that she was just bluffing when she said that she had his number.

But now that Ivan was standing in front of them, they realized that Vivian was telling the truth and she was not joking.

They then turned their heads to face Vivian.

Ivan was having business dinner with his clients. When he heard his personal phone ringing, he was overwhelmed with excitement after seeing who the person calling him was.

This is her first time calling him after she left that day. And when she asked him to come to her, he left everything behind and rushed to her.

Leaving everything in the VIP room confused and shocked at his behavior.

This is their first time seeing Ivan being like this.

Vivian's eyes widened in shock.

'He showed up. Oh god, he really showed up. In less than three minutes. What should I do? But, I have to admit, he's too damn fine. He's still super hot even though he lost some weight.'

Ivan doesn't like what he sees. Vivian was surrounded by handsome men. And she's the only woman sitting there with the guys.

"Aren't you going to say something after you called me over here?"

Vivian let out a little smile. She's not sure if she should laugh or cry. "They don't believe that I had your number so I made a bet with them."

"And?"

"If you show up here, they'll have to buy me a car or motorcycle."

Ivan was a little hurt by what Vivian said. But he was still happy that Vivian was the first one who called him.

"Sigh! You know I can just buy them for you if you want. Why bet on me? Am I that cheap in your eyes?"

'Looking at his handsome face, he's so damn pretty hot. My heart started beating fast. How annoying.'

"It's not like that."

"You have my card with you. It's unlimited. You can buy whatever you want. There's no need for you to make a bet on anything."

'Ah… that's right. I haven't given his card back to him yet. But why are his lips so damn beautiful? And his eyes look so tender. They're making me weak.'

"Vivi?" Ken called out to Vivian.

"Huh? Yes?"

"Care to explain what's going on?"

It doesn't make him feel good when he hears the conversation between Vivian and Ivan. He was not sure if he heard their conversation correctly.

"Yes Vivi, explain everything this instant."

The truth is not just him. The rest of the guys don't even like that Ivan showed up in front of them.

After hearing the conversation between their princess and Ivan, they don't enjoy having the uneasy feeling in their chests.

'Explain? Explain what? I don't know what to say. I better leave now or things will get ugly.'

Vivian knew them better than anyone else. When it comes to her, they're over protective.

If she gives them her words or complains about someone a little, that person ends up in a crisis situation.

And of course she doesn't want them to do something to Ivan.

If Vivian lets them know about what happened between Ivan and her, they're going to do something bad to Ivan for sure.

And Vivian could see the dangerous looks in their eyes. They look like they're ready to do something bad.

'Is that gun in Max's hand?'

Now Vivian was sure that not just Max, but the rest of them brought their gun with them.

' I can't believe they even brought their guns with them when we're just out to eat at the restaurant. Do they think that this is a gang fight or what?'

With a serious look, Vivian looked straight at Max's eyes. "Max, don't even think about it."

Now that she knew each and everyone of the guys had a gun with them, Vivian's chest grew tighter and anxious hit her hard.

She knew that when it comes about her, the guys can get upset easily and can kill without blinking their eyes.

'I better take Ivan out of their sight as soon as I can before they lose control of their emotions.'

Vivian got up from her seat and looked at the guys with anxiety and apologies filled her eyes. "I'll explain everything later. I'll take my leave first. Enjoy your food. Sorry for leaving early when I'm the one who called you guys out."

Ivan frowned after hearing what Vivian said.

'She called them? A bunch of guys? Is that what she did after parting ways with me? Sigh! Here I am, having a hard time falling asleep and eating. She has always been in my mind this whole time. I miss her every second, but it seems like I'm the only one who's stuck in this situation. She already forgot about me.'

Without waiting for the guy's answer, Vivian walked up to Ivan. "Let's go."

Vivian walked away without waiting for Ivan.

Ivan followed behind Vivian.

After Viviand and Ivan leave, the guys are too stunned to even speak.

It took them a few long seconds before they came back to their senses but they are still in deep thoughts.

"Did our princess just leave us behind?"

"Yea…."

"Because of him, our princess left us by ourselves."

"Should we just kill him?"

"Sigh! Do you want our princess to be upset with us?"

They can see that Vivian was trying to protect Ivan in her own way from them. That makes them more upset than they thought.

This is the first time that Vivian left them behind in the middle of their meal together.

"If we are extra careful and none of us talk about it, I'm sure that she won't find out."

"Sigh! Even if we don't talk about it, you think she won't find it out with her hacking skills?"

The look in Ken's eyes grew deeper and was ready to murder whoever messed with him.

Noticing that Ken hadn't said anything and was just staying quiet with a murderous look filled his eyes, Max put his hand on Ken's shoulder. "Want to go take care of him tonight?"

Ken pushed Max's hand away without looking at him. "If not because of you, Vivi won't leave us behind. Why would you touch your gun when Vivi was around? What if she stops hanging out with us?"

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"I couldn't control my inner self when I saw Vivi and Ivan talking to each other. Don't worry it won't happen again."

Ken said with a heavy heart. "Sigh! I'm not sure if there'll be any next time for us. Vivi must've been disappointed with us right now."

He then stood up from his seat. "I lost my appetite. I don't think I can swallow anything right now. I'm leaving first."

"Same here. Let's all leave together."

The rest stood up from their seats and walked toward the elevator so that they could go get their cars in the parking lot.
