The Demise

Thereafter, Maya together with Prince Nathan and Prince Darius going to the kingdom. They want to resolve this issue courteously. But, it depends on Jordan if he can discuss well on this matter.

They have to make a comprising with each other. After all, there are the bigger problems they have to solve for the sake of their kingdom, and their people.

But, if he uncompromising with them, they had to take strong action. In other words, they will be fighting until the end.

They gathered in front of the yard before headed toward there. Each of them holding a sword in one hand and ready to move their step. Before that, Maya talks to Levi first. He didn't follow them because he has to stay there to protect the other people.

''Sister, take care...''

Maya give him a smile and said, ''Okay, you too.'' and they hugged for a moment.

Later on, they have arrived at the place. And it looks like Jordan already waiting for their arrival. He was standing in front of the hall and give a wicked smile to them.

Once they walk enters into the place, he claps his hand with excitement. He just welcoming them with a cynical look. Both Prince Nathan and Prince Darius just walk inside with stern faces. Maya just follows them from behind.

She actually observes the surrounding situation and tried to check if there is anything suspicious among the soldiers. And it looks like most of the soldiers who guard in each corner are the rogue people.

The Kingdom they saw right now was ruled by Jordan that many of rogue that conquers all the areas.

''Welcome to both of you, Prince Nathan and Prince Darius. It really an honor to meet both of you two here. And...the beautiful lady behind there.'' He said while giving an interesting look at Maya.

Nathan quickly prevents him to look at her and make her stay behind him. Darius, who had been holding back his anger from earlier, continued to speak. ''Jordan, don't you dare! We have to proceed with our talk!'' He shouted.

''Wow! Wow! Calm down, my dear brother. We still have time.''

''We don't have time to talk with someone like you! Just straight to the point! You have to take down from that throne!'' Darius said in anger while shouting his voice.

Jordan burst into laughter when he hears him saying that. He just laughing like an evil. ''Darius...Darius...it so sad to look at you like this. After all, I'm your brother.''

''You don't deserve to be my brother! And you also don't deserve with that throne!'' He said in anger and want to move forward but Nathan quickly holding on to him.

''Darius, wait,'' Nathan tried to hold him to do something. Then, he began to talk to Jordan.

''Jordan...for your information, we came here not to fight with you. We just want to have a good talk with you. And one more thing, I don't interested in that throne. You can have it all. But! I hope you can lead our kingdom well as our father does before.'' Nathan said

''Our father??'' He said and laughing. ''I don't have any father! And he, not even my real father!'' He shouts.

Nathan and Darius surprised. That means he knows about that. Jordan looks like he doesn't want to follow anything from them and he just wants to do what he wants. He waiting for a long time to take revenge.

He actually could not accept that he was not from the royal family and even not from the royal blood. The day he knows about the secret, he was upset and frustrated. He can't believe that he not feasible to take the throne.

As he feels disappointed knowing about that, he determined to kill all the royal family and even the heirs. That the only thing he can do to conquer the kingdom.

''Jordan, whatever it is, you always be our family. We've been together a long time.'' Nathan still wants to coax him. Darius just held a rage next to him.

''Nathan, just stop showing your kindness! I hate you. I hate all the things about you! You always got all the good things!''

''It's because he deserves it more rather than you!'' Darius barges in.

''Oh really? I don't think so!'' He tried to provoke him. Then, he laughing out loud there.

Meanwhile, Maya just standing behind Nathan and Darius. She just listening to them and while watching out the other rogue. She feels that something weird around there.

She noticed that some of the soldiers there tried to hold their swords like they want to start the fighting.

And, all of sudden, Jordan yelling at his soldiers to begin the attack. ''Lets kills all of them!'' Jordan shouting. And all of them quickly move their actions and fight with each other.

Maya immediately drew her sword and fight with them. Both Nathan and Darius also do their quick moves and fighting with the rogue. Jordan smirked and he excitedly watching them.

This time, he will kill both of the royal heirs. He will not let them go for this time. With that, he can freely take the kingdom.

At that time, when things go awry, Jordan secretly comes into the battle and joins them. The only first target he wants to kill is Nathan! While Nathan keeps fighting, he didn't realize that Jordan was coming toward him.

But, luckily Maya noticed that and she managed to save him. Nathan realized it and both Jordan and Nathan were facing into each other. Right now, both of them fiercely staring at each other and began to fight with each other.

Like a flash, both of them fighting with their sword. Their sword skills are both equally great and stronger. From afar, Maya feels uneasy. She was worried about Nathan.

When Maya didn't alert and keep watching Nathan, suddenly one of the rogues comes closer to her and want to stab her from behind, Darius saw it and quickly go to save her.

''Maya!'' He shouted

Maya heard it and she quickly avoids it but she got a stab at her shoulders. Nathan heard Darius scream calling Maya's name and he looked at them. He was worried and at the same time, Jordan takes a chance and instantly stab at his stomach.

Nathan groaned in pain and he couldn't fight back. And Jordan still keeps stabbing his body. At that time, Nathan in pain and finally he fell down. He feels that his body was seriously hurt and blood comes out from his body.

Jordan smiled happily there as soon as he saw Nathan felt down. He was in weak condition. He finally feels satisfied!

Maya and Darius quickly running towards Nathan and both of them fight with Jordan. Then, Darius goes toward Nathan and looks over his condition. Maya just keeps fight with Jordan until the end.

She feels angry and she bravely fights with Jordan. As Maya is really great at sword fighting, she uses all her strength and kills Jordan. She fights with him using all her strength and her anger heart.

Finally, Maya manages to kill him. She stabs his body forcefully. She let go of all her anger and rage at him. After that, she sat there silently after killing him. Her hands were trembling.

''Maya...! Maya...!'' Darius keeps calling her. But she didn't move. She daze for a while there.

In fact, she didn't ready to see Nathan. She had seen many drops of blood come out from Nathan's body and she didn't dare to see him like that.

''Maya...! Nathan need you!'' Darius shouts at her. Then, after a moment, she quickly headed towards them. She already has tears in her eyes. She slowly moves closer to him and puts him into her arms.

Darius gets up and moves a little from there. He was holding his tears and not to shed tears there. He was sad to see his brother's condition. He only stares at his hands that have Nathan's blood on them.

Maya put his head on his lap and look at him with sadness. She tried to hold her tears but she cants do that. She can't hold it anymore and she shed tears there.

''Hey...don't cry...'' Nathan said in a weak voice. He slowly rubs her cheeks. He was holding his pain.

''Maya...can we make a promise?'' He said to her but Maya shook her head as she doesn't want to. ''Please...''

''What promise?''

''Promise me that you will be my eternal guardian. Wherever we are, I hope you can still be my side. I want the next life...you still be together with me...''

''But I failed...I failed to keep my promise. I can't even protect you! I can't even save you at this time!''

''Shhh... it's okay. This time, I will be your guardian. But not for the next life...I wish to see you again...'' He said and cough a little as he holds his pain.

''Nathan! No! Dont talk like this. I need you...I don't want you to leave me yet.''

''Maya... I love you...'' He pulls her face closer and gives a kiss on her lips. She replied to his kiss with tears in her eyes.

After that, Nathan's body feel weak and gradually his body didn't have any moves and his breathing has stopped. After realized it, Maya crying out loud there. Darius also shed tears there.

She still can't accept that Nathan is gone from her life forever. She didn't expect that all her people she loves gradually leaving her. She feels distressed and didn't know what should she do after this.

After what has happened today, it feels like a flash that all the things happened. She cried and roared there while hugging his body tightly.

''Nathan! Wake up! Please don't leave me!''

''I love you so much, Nathan! I still have many things to say to you. I haven't told you about all of my feelings! Nathan...! Please wake up!'' She shouted at there.

Then, Darius come closer to her and tried to comfort her. But she still ignores him and didn't answer him. She just dont want to let him go. She was holding on to him tightly.

''Maya...we have to bring his body back. We can bury him at there.''

''No!! He's not dead yet! We can try to save him. We use all the ways to make him alive!''

''Maya! Just stop! He will not be able to live anymore. He already leaves us...'' Darius shouted. He feels the sadness too and he also can't even believe that Nathan has died.

He feels regret as he can't even protect his brother. After all, he thought that he only have Nathan in his life but not now until what happened today. He was alone. He has no one else after this.

And just like that, Nathan has died. He could not be saved because he had lost a lot of blood. After what happened, Darius and Maya walk away from that place together with Nathan's corpse.

They bring him out and will bury him at his favorite place. Actually, Darius had a talk with Nathan before. His last wish is to let his corpse bury in this place which is at the waterfall near that palace.

He curious about his brother's wish but he just obeys what he wants. He just does what he wants and he brings Maya to bring the corpse to the waterfall.

Later on, they arrived at the waterfall. Darius directly walks into that place and he found out the place he told before. Then, he quickly digging out the ground near the willow tree.

Maya just sitting there while gazing at Nathan's face. She just wants to see his face for the last time. Darius just keeps doing his things and Maya just sitting pensively near his body.

After some time, Darius has finished digging the ground and both of them buried him there. Maya forces herself to not shed tears but he failed.

Then, Darius slowly put her into his embrace. Both of them watching at his grave with sorrow.

''Nathan...I love you...I promise to you. I will be yours eternally guardian...'' She said while tears welled up in her eyes.
