FIRST GIFT AS A THANKYOU

Mr. Park grabbed the towel from the car and asked the Prince, "What is this?"

While giving a smile, he said, " It's towel".

"I even know it's the towel. I'm asking you what it is doing in my car? And whose towel is this?"

He snatched the towel and said, "I have bought it."

He asked shocking,"It is purchased? Then, why is it wet?"

"I have wiped off sweat with it." said while showing his gummy fake smile.

"Who buys towels to wipe off sweat? I have only seen that people buy handkerchiefs. I feel that you must have come after some scandal."

To save himself, he started committing emotional atrocities on his brother, "What are you talking about? You are being suspicious of your real brother. Today, you proved that you also do not trust me like our father."

He went into his emotions and hugged him and said, "I'm sorry. It won't happen next time."

On one hand, his brother was feeling sorry for him and on the other hand, he was laughing while hugging.

After hugging, his brother sat in the car and while leaving, he said teasingly,"I try a lot not to doubt you. But what to do, you are really a bastard brother."

He threatened him,"I will tell your father that you want to work in their company." and stood crossing his arms.

He stopped the car and took out his neck from the window and said, "If you tell this to him, then party from my side."

Hearing this, he uncrossed his hands and asked,"How are you so sure that I won't talk to him?"

"Because I am your elder brother and I know you more than you know about yourself."

He put his neck inside and drove away. Prince came to his room and laid down at the bed.

At Sophia's house -

After having breakfast with her mother, Sophia went to got fresh. When she was giving medicine to her mother, then someone knocked on the door.

She asked to herself,"Who will be at the door this morning?"

She ordered,"Mumma! Eat your medicine. I come to see who is at the door."

When she opened the door, she saw her neighbour aunt standing outside.

"Good morning, Aunt! "

Mrs. Shergill said affectionately,"Good morning, Dear!"

"Aunty, Why are you standing outside? Come in."

She asked smiling,"How are you dear?"

"I am fine."

Miss Shergill 's eyes were searching for someone, "Where is your mother?"

Sofia took her to her mom's room. As she entered her room, she immediately asked,"Miss Oberoi! How are you feeling now?"

She said smiling,"I am fine, It's nice to see you here."

"It's my duty because you also helped me a lot in the past. And anyway, we are neighbors so we should help each other."

She glanced at Sophia and asked,"Princess! What are you doing here? Go to college."

She waved her hand and said, "No aunty! I am not going today. I want to take leave from college and take care of my mother."

Her mother scolded her, "You had taken leave last time also for two days. Again, I do not want you to lose your studies because of me."

"Mumma, it is not your fault in this and anyway I have completed my studies which I had missed that day."

She stuck to her word,"I don't want to listen anything. You are going to college today, means you are going."

She interrupted to stop the quarrel between the two,"You both calm down. I have a solution for both of you. Sophia! You want to take care of your mom and your mom wants you to go to college.Right?"

Sophia nodded her head up and down.

"Let's do one thing, you go to college and I'll take care of your mom. This will solve the problem for both of you."

"Mrs. Shergill! I am fine. You don't have to worry about me."

She tried to persuade her,"There is nothing to worry about. I also keep getting bored at home as I live alone."

She was about to refuse again but she stopped her and said, "Now, I will not hear anything from you."

She ordered," Sophia! You go to your college without any worry because I am taking your mother to my house and will take full care of her."

"Thankyou so much, Aunty!"

"It's ok. I will also get your mother's accompany and also share our words with each other."

Sophia left and got ready and lay down on the bed and was scrolling Instagram. Suddenly, Prince's photo pooped up.

"What is he doing here? Never mind! But, he is looking handsome."

Her eyes fell on number of likes and was stunned,"What! One million twenty nine thousand likes. Has Instagram started drinking too?"

When she opened his profile, her eyes were torn apart," Four million followers!"

"One second! Are my glasses ok?"

She cleaned her glasses and looked again, she could see the same thing.

"He is famous that's why girls die behind him."

She kept scrolling through his ID, then she came to know that he loved to wear watch.

Then, she got an idea,"I should get a nice watch for him because he helped me a lot. For that, I have to leave the house early."

She left the house with her pocket money after informing her aunt and her mother. She stood at the bus stand and waited there. The bus came, she climbed and sat on the window seat. She was looking out the window all the way as if she was looking for something.

She smiled and said to herself,"I found the shop, I was looking for."

She immediately got off the bus and went inside the shop which had a lot of wrist watches.

A lot of people were buying watches in the shop and the shopkeeper was showing the watches to everyone. He came to her and she asked him,"Do you have any good watch within the budget of hundred dollars?"

"Yes ma'am! Would you like to buy gent's watch or a ladies ' watch?"

"For man. "

The shopkeeper brought very beautiful watches in front of her and seeing those watches, Sophia could not understand which watch to take for him. She liked three watches whose colour was black, brown and golden. He took a photo of those three watches and sent it to Prince on WhatsApp. She was eagerly waiting for his reply but the reply did not come, so she called him directly.

Due to the noise in the shop, she stood a little on the side.

"Hello! Prince, Actually I wanted to buy a watch, so I don't know which watch to buy. So can you please help me?"

"I'm running out of time. You know, I was sleeping."

"Were you sleeping? You know it's time for college."

When he saw the time, he was shocked. He hurriedly said, "You hang up the phone. I am going to freshen up."

"Hey wait! I sent you some photos on WhatsApp. Whatever you like, just tell me. Then do whatever you want to do."

"Well, I see."

He was stunned when he saw the photo of the gents' watches.

He felt strange,"Tell me one thing, are you buying this watch for your boyfriend?"

"Shut up! I don't have any boyfriend. I want to give it to my friend. As I'm a girl, so I don't know which one is better."

He started teasing her,"Am I only one that you met in the whole world for asking this? Where has he gone your clingy friend, professional dancer?"

"You stop your bullshit and tell as much as you asked. Then, we both have to go to college also."

"I like the black one better as my favorite colour is black."

She disconnected the call after saying okay. And on the other hand, he kept on saying hello. "She doesn't even say thank you."

The shopkeeper had gone to another customer and was writing something on the paper. So Sophia called him and said,"Sir! Pack me a black watch."

He was in a hurry and said, "I just pack now."

Sophia's attention went to the two girls standing next to her who were talking among themselves.

"Mam! Your gift. It's price is $60."

"Thankyou!"

She put that watch in her bag and after paying the money, she boarded another bus and left for the college.

When she reached college, she went straight to Joe's class after putting her bag on the seat.

She was so energetic,"Good morning, Joe!"

"Good morning! How did you come here today?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to show that I have bought a gift. You tell me how it is."

She showed the picture of that watch in her phone. Joe said seeing that,"It is very good."

He was getting curious,"Well, who is this watch for?"

"You remember, when you came to the hospital with your bank card to pay. So someone had already paid."

"Yes! I remembered."

" I have to give....."

He interrupted her and said in the middle,"Well! Then you have brought this gift to give him?

She nodded her head up and down smiling.

"You mean, you have found out that person?"

Looking at his face, she asked, "You were so excited now, so why has the expression of your face changed now?"

He made a disappointed face and said,"Nothing, I thought you had brought it for me."

"Oh sorry! I'll definitely get one for you next time."

"No problem! Tell me who that man is."

"If you will hear his name, you won't believe it."

"Why are you creating this suspense? Tell me, what's the name?"

"His name is..... Prince."

His eyes widened,"What! Are you kidding me?"

She started laughing after hearing his words.

Just then, the bell rang.

"The bell has rung, I have to go. You go and give him a watch."

Both of them said bye waving their hands to each other and left.

She arrived her class and sat down on her seat. Miss Erica came, everyone stood up to greet but Sophia was looking for Prince hanging back and forth but he and his bag was not on his seat. She waited for him till recess but he did not appear in the class. She was very upset how she would give him the gift now.

It's lunch time. As usual Sophia took her lunch and went to the park to meet Joe but he did not come there too. She sat down with her mouth hung and could not understand what was happening with her that day.

"I should call Joe and ask him where he is."

The phone was ringing but he didn't pick up the call.

She sighed,"It seems that he will be busy somewhere. When he will be free, he will definitely call me back."

Sophia had lunch alone and went to her class. In all the lectures, her attention was just revolving only around how will she give him that gift. The last bell rung and college was over. She started keeping all her books in the bag, then Joe's call came immediately,"Hello! Sophia, You called me. Sorry, actually I was busy."

"It's ok. I just called because you didn't come to the park for lunch."

"Oh Shit! I forgot to tell you that there is going to be an Inter college competition in a few days in which I have participated. So,I was in the auditorium since morning."

"Oh! All the best."

"Thankyou! But what happened, why is your voice sounding so strange? Are you ill?"

"No, today is my bad day. I didn't see Prince since morning and my gift giving plan failed."

"Prince has been in the auditorium since morning. Today, he has been practicing since morning that's why he did not go to class."

Her hanging face became happy after hearing this and said,"Really! Well you stay there and keep him there too. I am coming there."

"No! I will not stop with him otherwise we will both have a fight."

"Okay! You just tell him to stay there that I want to talk to him."

Joe went to him and said,"Look, listen to me first, then open your mouth."

He stood up and started looking at her face.

"Sophia has said that you wait for her over here. She is just about to come."

When Lovely brought her bag, she saw Prince and Joe talking to each other.

She said waving her hand,"Hello! Joe."

He smiled,"Hello!"

"What happened?"

"Nothing! Sophia wants to meet Prince. So, I came here just to inform him."

Lovely asked,"Are you a Personal Assistant of her? What's that girl to do with Prince?"

"I am not a reporter of any news channel that I would know all the news." He answered her in her language.

Lovely got irritated. He did not say anything further to her and fled from there in two minutes.

As he was leaving, he found Sophia on the stairs on the way and said, "All the best. Lovely is also there."

"What! What is that makeup shop doing there?"

"Because the prince of the girls is also standing there."

When Sophia reached the auditorium, both of them were looking at her like a wild fox.

She gathered courage and went to him,"Prince! I want to talk to you in private."

Lovely did not like all this and said,"Whatever you want to talk, do it in front of me."

He understood her gesture and told her, "Lovely! You go home. I'll talk to you later."

"You are asking me to leave because of this girl." and left from there in anger. The entire auditorium was empty, only both of them were present there.

Lovely was on her way that she found Levin on the way.

"Hey! Lovely, Why is your face red like a tomato?"

As soon as he insulted her, she got furious and started shouting at him. Looking at his expressions, it was as if his head started hurting hearing her words. Then he folded his hand to her, "Sister! You forgive me, I made a mistake."and was going from there.

Then she immediately asked the question,"Where are you going?"

"I am going to meet Prince."

"Right now, Right now a girl has an appointment with our Prince, so he is very busy."

" So what?"

"Excuse me! Mister, when he drove me away, then who are you going to go there?"

"What are you talking about? He made you run away from there just for the sake of the girl."

"I'm his friend and he won't ask me to go."

He went into the auditorium with full confidence. As soon as he stepped on the door of the auditorium, he saw a girl standing beside him whose back side was only visible, not his face. And both of them were talking to each other. Then, Prince saw him and told him to leave gesturing with his hands.

Levin asked him in gesture what happened. Prince again told him to leave gesturing with his hand. Seeing her angry face, he ran away in fear and came near the stairs where Lovely was waiting for him.

"At first you went wide of your chest, what happened? The air went out of the chest that it shrunk."started making fun of him.

"There is no use hanging your mouth, walk home quietly."

"Well, who was that girl because of which he also drove me away?"

"My mind's going bad. So we'll talk about that later."

They both left from there.

Now in the auditorium, Sophia opened her bag and took out a box from it.

She said moving the box towards him, "You helped me a lot that I can't forget whatever you have done for me. So, this is a small gift from my side for you as my gratitude. Thankyou so much."

He asked her again,"One minute! What did you say?"

"You helped me a lot."

"It's not. What did you say in last?"

"Thankyou!"

Hearing thank you words from her mouth first time, his eyes widened.

"Sorry! I didn't listen carefully. Can you speak one more time?"

Sophia could not understand what had happened to him,"Thankyou!"

"One minute! Let me start recording in my phone, then you speak."

She realised that he was making fun of her,"Nonsense! Why are you doing such madness?"

"I've never heard thank you from you so I couldn't believe what I heard."

She said regretfully,"I've told you before, maybe you haven't heard."

He was so happy,"If I had listened that day, I might not have received this gift today."

"What is special about it? You have so many followers that many girls would give you gifts."

"You are right. But taking a gift from your hand is a little different."

She asked making blank face,"You making fun of me?"

"You feel like this."

"Cut the crap! You drop all these things and look at the gift."

"I know, this is the same watch that I selected."

"Did I say something that this is my favorite?"

When he opened the watch's box, his eyes were torn apart.

Seeing his astonished face, she asked,"What's wrong with your face? Have you seen ghost?"

He was speechless that he couldn't say anything.Then she took the box from his hand, she also had the same face as Prince after seeing it.

Seeing their face, it seemed that whatever happened should not have happened.
