XuTao had another check-up now that he is awake to make sure there was really no problem with his eyesight, hearing, and others that need to be check.

Assured that XuTao was alright there were no complications.

After making sure that XiennaYan was soundly sleeping and wasn't experiencing traumatic stunts.

He went to his study to have everything investigated privately and to check that files that were sent to him earlier by one of his man that was currently conducting the public investigation.

Checking the files and documents, he wasn't able to find anything aside from that man was a wanted criminal as a gun for hire and no more further details, like who was the person that hired him or who was the main target. As for sure it wasn't XuTao, because if it was really him, is they would have check if he was really dead and not just leave.

There were two assumptions that he has come up with...

First was that he was supposed to be the main target and that man was waiting for him, but just have to shot XuTao because he saw him.

but what bothers him was why did he only shot XuTao and didn't include the other people in the scene including XiennaYan who was able to contact him immediately and the guards.

And why it left without waiting for him, as he was at the scene within a minute after XiennaYan called him.

This leads him to his second assumption, that it was really XuTao that was targeted, but the reason for it was still unknown to him and needs to be investigated.

In the room, when MuChen left XiennaYan opened her eyes, she gets the travelers bag under the sofa and checks the content carefully if there was a tracking or listening device on it.

Inside it, was also the case she got, when she has her first mission, she wasn't able to send it to the dropped location as when she arrived there, it was burned down.

After making sure that there were no tracking or listening devices on the case, it made her wonder more who was that person that called her before, and the one who shot XuTao and how did they know her so well.

It suddenly hit her that something was off and that someone must have betrayed her or the team.

As she was unsure who might be the culprit, but she knows that person must be from M city or abandoned town, she gets her laptop opened some codes, and she was able to perfectly hack into the network system that they were using at M city abandoned town.

Every message and calls that go in and out that might include her name the group or anything unspecified transaction would automatically be sent to her email.

After setting up this feature, she then contacted QaiLizi, telling her that her identity as Xie was compromised and someone is targeting the people around her.

QaiLizi was her mother WennaXien top informant and has always been with her like a real sister, so when she tells her those details, QaiLizi was worried if something might happen to her more, and to contact her if she needs further help. QaiLizi will also help her find out who betrayed her or the team, without acting suspiciously.

After finishing their conversation, she also made sure to activate the network tracker, of everyone who contacts her. That would easily pinpoint the location of the person who contacted her. She also set up a GPS photo tracker of everyone on her contacts that would send her a photo and signal every ten minutes.

After making sure that she will be able to know everyone condition from time to time, make her more at ease.

She put everything back from where she got it, before lying back on the bed.
