Wu Lina went to the doctor for her regular checkup. The babies were due in the next two weeks and she had started becoming restless. The doctor did an ultrasound and said, "They are doing very fine."
"Doctor, I want them to kick and cry in their father's lap," she said showing her impatience.
"Wu Lina, let them be in you until they want to be. Who know they will decide to come out sooner? But once they are born, they won't receive their mom's protection," replied the doctor with affection.
Wu Lina smiled and left the hospital. She headed straight back to the house. By the time it was afternoon, the mayor came with three suitcases. Wu Lina showed him to his room. She was happy that there would be someone who would give her company because was she was alone most of the time and was usually so bored. The mayor would give her good company.
