Finding myself still in shock of what I just saw, I dropped the remote on the ground, staring at the TV as if it had grown wings. I quickly reached for the Tv and turned it off.

Getting really anxious with a lot of thoughts going through my head, I sat down on my sofa, looking down to the ground to find out that the remote had spoiled.

" Damn you Lucas, you caused this!" I cursed, picking up the remote.

What I'm I supposed to do? I asked myself taking paces of steps back and forth in my parlour. I just told a lie, a terrible one for that matter.

" What? a billionaire? how?" I asked myself, scattering my hair around in anxiety.

I decided to put the things I had gotten from the mall in their various positions and went straight to bed. Unfortunately I couldn't just fall asleep but still have thoughts of him lingering in my head. Ticking 9am, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

8am in the Morning….

My alarm rings loudly waking me up from sleep. Slipping off from bed I get ready for work at Luca's company. Wearing my corporate wear dressed in a blue suit on a trouser, With my killer black heel pumps I've been dying to Wear. Looking at a mirror beside my bed, I couldn't imagine it was me! I looked fabulous and irresistible. Now I have to play the role of being a girl from a billionaire family to fit in his standard.

Off I went to hail a taxi near my street, I entered the taxi and went to my destination to begin my first day as Lucas secretary. Getting off the taxi I ran up as quickly as I could due to how late I was. It was now ticking 9:30 am and I'm supposed to be at the office before 9 am. Checking my watch to ensure it doesn't pass another minute I bumped into Lucas accidently.

I immediately fell down on the ground with my hair turned to a complete mess, my hair of all places looked messed up! Trying to arrange my hair and dusting myself I see a hand stretched a metre away from me.

" Here, let me help you." Lucas tells me, dragging me off the ground.

I looked up clumsy and nervous at him as my breath seized for a moment. I didn't know what was happening but I definitely knew I wasn't myself. Still lost in my thought he breaks up the silence with his rough yet manly voice.

" Hope you're ok now? I see your late Miss Ava. Follow me, let me show you to your desk." He tells me at once, placing his two hands in his black suit pocket.

After three minutes of walking, we finally got to the office where he showed me where I'll be working starting today.

" What do you think, Miss Ava?" He tells me, gesturing around with his hands.

I looked astonished and lost with the beautiful aesthetics and decorations placed literally everywhere. Not to talk about a fridge with a high cooling AC just beside the corner with a water dispenser. The place was heaven itself.

" It's so beautiful! I love it! Thank you sir!" I tell him happily, taking a few steps inside and my eyes gazing around everywhere.

" I'm glad you like it, Miss Ava. From today this will be your workplace and if you need anything at all, I mean anything , don't hesitate to let me know." He tells me, turning around to take his leave.

" Wait please sir. " Eva tells him

" You can call me Lucas, you don't need to be formal when you're with me. okay?" He tells Eva with a straight face.

" Oh, okay Lucas." She tells him breathing nervously.

" What is it you want to tell me Miss Ava, I'm listening." Lucas tells her, folding his two arms.

" Well, I really want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to work in your company and treating my wound. I guess you're not so cold as I persumed you to be." She tells him sincerely, pouting her mouth.

" Cold? Well you can say that but it depends. I have to admit, you are an attractive lady and really cute too but trust me if you knew more about me you would most likely go crazy." He tells her playfully with a smile.

Ava couldn't help but stare at his face as he brightened up like never before with a radiate smile and beautiful facial features dancing around in every corner of his face. There's no doubt of what I ever felt before.

" Hey! hello! Miss Ava! Are you lost? You better start your work immediately. Please get those files to my office. I want to do some paperwork." He tells her, taking his leave.

Few moments later…

A knock at the door; " Hello sir, can I come in? It's Eva." She tells him, carrying a bunch of files on her hands.

" Yes please, come in!" He answered, dropping his phone on his desk.

Eva brings in the files, placing them on Luca's desk. Luca gets up from his chair counting and making sure everything is complete.

" Oh, there is one more file left. Please check and bring it to me now, okay?" He tells her, arranging the files she had kept.

As Eva turns around to go , her heels break off suddenly making her slip and almost falling to the ground but luckily she feels a tight arm griping around her waist. Looking up she meets Lucas who caught her from falling.

" Hey, you need to be careful, okay?" He tells her still holding her around her waist.

" Y…yes, Sorry." Eva tells him, staring straight at his irresistible eyes.

Lucas and Eva make eye contact, glancing at each other. Suddenly Eva notices Lucas coming slowly towards her. He flips her hair away from her eyes and cups her face looking straight into her eyes,
