Shadow and darkness

"Erebus can't you say to your fangirl to let us rest. I'm eating here but she is ruining my peaceful time."

[Erebus wasn't that the name of the boy with golden eyes?]

Lucius moved his head to the side. When he first sat down, he didn't notice them, but now that he was looking at them, he realized they were from his class. Two of the three looked really tired and the third one seemed to still have a lot of energy.

"That is not my fault. You are the only one who finds it annoying. Just ignore it."

"Erebus and Ryuu...", it wasn't his intention to say their names it was unconsciously.

"Ah! It's the handsome boy in our class."

"Like I didn't know that.", Erebus rolled his eyes he really didn't know what Ryuu is always thinking in that stupid head of his.

"Nice seeing you again, Lucius."

"Nice seeing you again too, Erebus."

"You already have new friends. Why don't you introduce me to that handsome boy there.", said Eira while poking in Lucius's stomach.

[Friends...I wouldn't really call us friends though. But we aren't really classmates too. Hmmm... So what are we?]

"Hey! Hey! Lucius! Are you going to introduce us or not?", Eira began waving with her hands to attract Lucius's attention and it seemed to work because he replied.

"Um yeah... So this is my childhoods friends Eira", when he said this he pointed at her and then moved his finger to Kai: and Kai.", then he loved his fingers first to Erebus and then Ryuu: " And they are my classmates Erebus, Ryuu and... I think her name was Kia. Is that right?"

One of the three was a girl. She had long blond hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes and wore round glasses.

The girl smiled at Lucius: "You are totally right. It is amazing how you already know my name, Lucius."

"It seems you know my name too."

"Of course. Who wouldn't remember such a hottie like you."

[She...seems really honest.]

"So what were you guys talking about.", Lucius was actually curious what made Ryuu so frustrated and who that fangirl was.

"Do you really want to know?", Kia said with glittering eyes and a smile that seemed a bit off.

Ryuu and Erebus wanted to say something but it seemed that Eira was faster.

"Yeah, I want to know. Tell us."

Erebus and Ryuu sighed and they looked like the world will go under soon. But then Ryuu became more dramatic and began faking that he lost consciousness but not like anybody cared about that.

So with eyes that shined Kia opened her mouth: "You guys see it to right?"

"See what?", the three answered at the same time.

"You can see that Erebus has golden hair, right?"

"Of course we can see that. We aren't blind!", Eira was getting impatient. She didn't understand why she wouldn't go straight to the point and instead be talking about Erebus's hair.

[Do you think I care he has golden hair? No! I don't!]

Even when everybody could see that Eira was getting impatient and almost exploding. Kia didn't care and just talked carefree like she wouldn't die at any moment.

"So you see. I find it so weird why they called him like that. Because he has golden hair and Erebus is in reality a Greek God that controls darkness and shadow. That is why it sounds so weird. I mean his personality is kinda like that but do you understand? I find it more fitting with Lucius. But you know your personality is kinda bright so maybe it doesn't fit with you too."

"Hey, what do you mean with that it fits with my personality?", he just asked a question but the look he gave and the tone he spoke with showed it wasn't a question he really wanted an answer to.

Not like Kia even noticed cause she still went on with talking. This time not about how his name didn't suit him but about God itself. She talked and talked without pausing a second. She didn't even stop to take a breath or even to drink something.

Lucius, Eira, and Kai now knew why they looked a bit tired. Because when she began talking you couldn't stop her anymore.
