The beginning of tragedy

After hearing the old man saying their name is 'The Shelter', Kageyama was confused because he didn't hear about an Organization or anything in that caliber named The Shelter. Kageyama said,

"I never heard about you. So what do you want?."

"Well of course you have not heard about us, because if any random person knew who we are, we have to get rid of them." Said the old man while chuckling a bit. "And for your question I will be more specific. We came here to take everyone to their new 'Home', train them well enough to be of good help to the society in the future."

Kageyama looked at the old man in front of him with suspicious eyes. When he was about to say something the old man interrupted him. "And before saying anything, no, you don't have a choice." Said the old while still having eye contact with Kageyama.

Kageyama was in lose of words, but then one of the caretakers said "So simply we will be your slaves, and we don't have any saying in that matter! Then why are you saying that in the first place!?" She screamed that with an angry voice.

The old man looked at her with a sharp gaze, that made her shiver and take a step back from fear. Then he made his way to her while saying "One: yes you are right. The place we are taking you to, you will have to work as long as we want you to, without saying 'No'. Even though, we will provide you with food, clothes, rooms and some money. Two: I only said that out of manners. I could have just broke the door and took every person here without saying anything, and it would have been a lot easier to me, but 'manners make a man'. And three:..."

*Slap*

*Thud*

The old man slapped the caretaker with his back hand, a strong enough slap to make her drop on the ground with a thud. Then he looked at her with a nonchalant look. "...Don't interfere between conversations, when I am talking. This is the first and last warning to all of you." He said while wiping his hand with a handkerchief.

"Saya!" Rina shouted while making her way to the caretaker named Saya. Rina's voice made them come back to their senses and some kids ran to Saya while crying. Kageyama after coming back to his senses, looked at the old man with a hateful look, while trying his best to not rush over and take this old man down.

After Noah saw what the old man did to Saya, he remembered the times when his father took him to a quiet place and beaten the shit out of him. Noah looked at the old man with eyes full of rage. Then he looked to his side and saw a kitchen knife, he even thought to take it and try to kill him, but he shook this thoughts out of his mind.

'NO! I can't do that, even though in the future I will have to kill but I am not ready yet to do that, and I don't even know if I could kill him with my weak body or what will happen after I kill him.' Thought Noah while looking at the other men who had a really huge bodies and their muscles was visible from under their clothes.

No one noticed Noah other than the old man. The old man thought with a smirk on his face while looking at Noah 'Hoh, so that is the kid who Jason talked about huh. I felt a huge anger and a little bloodlust coming from him. Any other kid in his place would cower in fear, but he looked like he even thought of murdering me. I think he will really be a good weapon to us in the future.'

The look the old man gave to Noah, made him shiver a bit. It felt like the old man was planning something and it wasn't a good thing at all.

"So will you not tell us where is that 'Home' you are talking about?" Said Kegeyama while making his way slowly to the caretakers and kids, to not make the old man aware, after Rina took saya and the kids behind Kageyama.

Even though the old man understood Kageyama intentions, he decided to play with him a little, it's not like Kageyama can do anything in this situation. "Well, The Shelter is a place, in it we try to nurture people to make them better than what they even could imagine and to break their own limits, to use their talents to make the society a better place and blah blah blah..." The old man began blabbing about The Shelter without saying any major things.

Kageyama sighed in relief that he could distract the old man. Then he whispered to the caretakers, "Everyone, take the kids and get out from the back door, then close it with the key and run to the closest police station and tell them the situation here."

Before anyone can register what he said, Noah asked. "And what about you, will we just leave you here?!" Noah knew what Kageyama's plan is, but he tried to put this thought in the back of his mind, maybe Kageyama had a better plan. "I will try to buy some time for you to escape, and I don't want anyone to discuss this with me. I already made up my mind, this is the best plan in our situation."

"But..but.." Rina was about to say something, but Kageyama interrupted her. "I know that's hard for you to do Rina, but think about the kids, you have to protect them at any cost." He said with a serious voice trying to convince Rina. Then he said with his usually joking tone, "And maybe you should call the ambulance from there too. I don't want this old man to die from just one move, you know."

Rina chuckled a bit, even though she was was on the verge of crying. Then she decided to go with his plan. "When I say 'go', run and never look back. Understood ?" Said Kageyama to the caretakers, who all nodded in understanding.

While the old man was about to finish his speech or something, Kageyama screamed with all of his might, "GO!!"

Then everyone started running to the back door fast, the caretakers carrying the kids who doesn't have good stamina and the other kids running behind them.

'And that's when the 'Social classes' began in Japan. No wait, it's not time for sarcasm, our life technically is on the line right now!" Noah thought sarcastically, then shook those thoughts out of his head.

"So you have chose the hard way huh? *Sigh* Why can't people this days just be obedient and do as I say?" Said the old man while sighing in disappointment.

"Should we go after them boss?" Asked one of the muscular men who is on the right side of the old man. "No, I considered something like that to happen, so there are some men positioned around this orphanage. Even if they are not as capable as you, they will be enough."

Even when Kageyama started running at the old man, the old man was standing like nothing is happening. "But will it not be faster for us to go get them ourselves?" Asked another man that was behind the old man confused. Replied the old man while throwing his cigar "You are right, it will be faster for you to go after them, but I want to know their capabilities. And as one of my friends said..."

*Clash*

Kageyama clashed with the old man's body, but the old man didn't even budge a little. He continued saying with a scary smile on his face "...Even a cornered cat can be more dangerous than a wild dog."
