Chapter 9

 During the weekend, Liam went for a drive around the city. He went alone. While on his drive, he noticed a big truck driving behind him. He moved to another lane for the truck to drive away. But instead, the truck moved to his(Liam) lane. He increased his speed to drive away, the truck driver also increased his speed.

 He found it suspicious and decided to alert his men.

 *Bang*, the truck had hit Liam's car. Liam hit his head on the steering wheel, he felt dizzy and wanted to call someone. While he was about to, there was a bottle of gas set leak in his car. It was an anesthetic gas, which incapacitated him.

 He fell asleep and was carried out of his car by some unknown men. He was taken to a basement and was tied there.

 In about six hours later, Lucas came into the basement, but Liam was still unconscious. Lucas asked for a bucket of water and dumped it in Liam's head. This woke him out of his slumber. Liam looked up and as he saw Lucas, he knew he was behind all that had happened.

 "So, how are you going to be found?? There is no way you would be able to contact someone from here. You can't call anyone, there is no signal from this building. I guess I own you now", Lucas said with a cheesy smile.

 Liam didn't respond to what Lucas said and just kept staring at him.

 "I told you to leave Aurora alone for me, but you chose not to listen. I'll kill you here and no one would find your corpse.", he said, as he took a step closer to Liam.

 He spat on his(Liam's) face and gave him a tight slap.

 "You killed my men, and I will kill you too"

 "Oh, those were your men", Liam answered mockingly. "They are so incompetent just like you", he said as he mocks Lucas.

 "I'll make sure I make you regret your existence", he replied.

 Lucas walked out of the basement and went home, leaving Liam and his men there.

 At home, Aurora was pacing around waiting for Liam anxiously. It got really late and Liam wasn't home yet. She called Noah to ask for Liam's whereabouts.

 "I haven't seen him today, I called him, but he didn't answer, I thought he was busy", Noah said to her.

Aurora started panicking, she called her parents. "Liam is missing", she said tearfully

"Relax, why did you say he is missing??", her dad asked.

"He only said he is going for a drive around noon, it's late now, and he isn't home yet."

"Maybe his car broke down", her mom replied trying to calm her down.

"Have you tried calling him??", her dad asked.

"His phone isn't reachable", she answered.

"Have you called any of his friends or men?", her dad asked.

"I called Noah, his best friend, he said he hasn't heard from him today.", she replied.

"Don't cry, I'm coming over", her dad said, trying to console her.

Her parents left their house to go stay with her for the night.
