Chapter 40

Sally went to her room and still couldn't believe what she saw and heard.

Part of her felt happy that Chris had a crush on her and part of her felt sad because Chris didn't know who she was.

As she was thinking her phone rang. She looked at who called and saw that it a number she had never seen or called before.

She picked up and said"Hello" with her small sweet voice

"Hi Sally" The person said

"Yeah who is this?" Sally asked

"Guess who it is" The caller replied

"I hate guessing" Sally said

"Oh that the only thing I don't know about you, You never told me you hate guessing" The caller said

"Chris is that you?" Sally asked in a happy tone

"Yep. Am sorry for not calling, I kinda lot the paper you wrote your number on so I called Jason to give it to me " Chris said

" oh okay "Sally said

" So I was calling to ask if you were free tomorrow so that we could start our project "Chris said

" Uhm yes am free"Sally replied

" Okay so let's meet up at the coffee shop downtown at 9 am and I will take you to my house, is that okay? "Chris asked

" Uhm yes it's fine"Sally said

" Okay bye"Chris said

" Are you my brother's girlfriend? "A little girl's voice asked

" She is my friend "Chris answered

"Who was that?" Sally asked

"Oh sorry that was my little sister, Am so sorry about that" Chris said

"Haha no need to apologize Chris, she is just a kid" Sally said

"Alright bye then"Chris said

" Bye see you tomorrow "Sally said but Chris hung up

Sally couldn't sleep all night, she was so excited but she didn't know why she was excited.

When she woke up in the morning and went downstairs to drink.

"Oh Jesus what happened to you Princess? Are you sick? What is wrong with you?" Liam asked

"Why are you asking me all that? Am fine" Sally said

"Well you face tells a different story" Liam said

"What is wrong with my face?" Sally asked

Liam took out her phone from her pocket and opened the camera app, turned it to selfie and then showed it to Sally.

"Holy mother of nature what is that" Sally said and Liam started laughing, She laughed so hard that she choked on her orange juice

*Cough* "You will be okay, it's 5 am you can still rest, You have nowhere to go so get some sleep " Liam said

" Am going to meet Chris at 9, but I will try and get some sleep"Sally said

" Oh Chris, I like that name"Liam said and winked

" ew gross don't do that"Sally said

" Haha what? I only said I like the name, So what are doing with Mr. Chris?"Liam asked

" We are doing a project work together and he is just a friend"Sally said

" I never said he was your boyfriend"Liam said and chuckled

" You are so annoying Liam"Sally said

" I know and that is why you love me, Now go get some sleep"Liam and smiled

" Okay"Sally said and kissed Liam on the cheek and went to her room to sleep.
