The End of the Buggy Pirates

As the beast approached the boys, Usopp asked Luffy if he could take care of this. He had seen the beast earlier when he rescued Luffy and was wanting to test how strong his physique had gotten.

"You two where is that eagle person and Roronoa Zoro?" He questioned.

"Why do you get to fight him." Luffy whined.

"Because I need to blow off some steam from your stupidity." Usopp said with a chuckle.

"What'd you say you bastard!" Luffy yelled.

While the two brothers were fighting each other, the weird haired person was angry that he had been ignored and yelled, "Richie, get them!"

The Lion charged at the two boys and Luffy and Usopp each threw a fist and hit him into the ground while yelling, "Don't interrupt!"

The Lion whimpered and walked back to the weird haired person who was scared at the power of the two. Usopp looked to have one his argument and stepped out to fight with a smile on his face.

"Alright let's get this started!" Usopp said.

The weird haired man and the lion whimpered and prepared himself for the beating he was going to get.

10 minutes later...

Usopp stood there with a dissatisfied expression, "How are you guys so weak, your a literal lion!"

"We're sorry.." the two muttered through swollen lips.

"Now get out of here before I kill you." Usopp said. The two immediately bolted towards there captain.

As they walked away, Usopp walked over to hear the mayor talking about the late owner of the pet shop and his dog. It was sad that this dog stood guard waiting for his owner but before Usopp could put his input in, a flash of light appeared.

*BANG!*

With the dust cleared a third of the town was rubble. Usopp stood with his mouth wide open at how destructive the explosion was. Then it hit him, Zoro was taken to a house in that direction.

"Zoro!" Usopp yelled and rushed towards all the destroyed buildings. Luffy heard me yell and understood what I was thinking. He ran after me as well while the mayor just shook his head and said to them, "You should stop looking the building he was in was over there and he's dead now."

Usopp was furious and screamed at the mayor, "YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!" As he continued looking, some movement happened to Usopp's left and he ran over as quick as he could. When he got over there all he heard was, "That's a rude way to wake someone up."

Usopp deadpanned and walked over in a calm pace before smacking Zoro's head. Zoro jumped Usopp and they got into a dustbrawl while Luffy laughed in relief. The mayor stood shocked that someone could survive that and come out perfectly fine. 'He must have the devil's luck or something,' he thought.

Meanwhile with Nami, currently she is hiding in one of the bars across the streets. Luckily she wasn't caught up in the explosions. As she was walking over towards the pirates that she had met earlier she couldn't help but think, 'Why are they so different compared to the pirates that I know...'

She had been watching them from the windows because they intrigued her. Zoro could be seen from an outside view as a regular pirate but from what she has seen, he is very strong and loyal with a strict bottom line. Usopp is extremely strong and put up a cold front, but he's also very kind to the other two, especially Luffy. You could also say he was the brains of the entire crew. Luffy is just as strong as Usopp, and even though he is the captain and makes the final decisions, you can tell he takes Usopp's words as well. He seems to be too kind for his own good and Usopp looks as if he's trying to protect Luffy from anything that could happen. All in all they don't seem to even be pirates, more like three friends riding a boat from island to island.

She approached them after coming back from her thoughts, and Luffy brightened up seeing her, "How's my navigator doing?"

"I've already told you I'm not joining your crew, I'm only traveling with you people for now as a means to an end." Nami said bluntly.

Luffy looked at her for a second, and smiled as he said, "Well, you'll join eventually I'll make sure of it!"

Nami sighed wondering what she has gotten herself into. Usopp glanced at her before looking at Luffy and saying, "So what do you want to do Captain? We can't let the clown keep staying here, those cannon balls are too dangerous to be put in the wrong hands and if we left him alone he would destroy this entire town and island."

Zoro perked up at what Usopp had said. He hadn't known these guys for long but knew that they would do something for these people. Luffy looked serious once Usopp broke it down for him, "We're gonna do what we always do Usopp, we're gonna kick his ass!"

Zoro and Usopp smirked and said, "Roger."

Over to Buggy, the clown-face sat on his captains chair with anger as he looked at his crew. "How dare that straw hat beat up my subordinates! We are going to keep firing buggy balls until we hit him. MEN load the next one!"

Two people got up and picked one of the cannonballs each and carried them over to the cannons. Half way across the two men stopped and dropped the cannonballs. Before Buggy could yell at their incompetence, they fell over with holes in their heads.

Everyone of Buggy's crew took in a sharp breath, before they could say anything two people jumped on top of their roof, Roronoa Zoro and the straw hat kid. Luffy ran up and punched buggy in his face they started fighting and Zoro walked over to help only to be stopped by a man with green hair and swords. Usopp was sitting across the building on another rooftop and shooting the cannon fodder that tried to interrupt the fights everything was going well until Nami walked out with a bag full of treasure.

Nami ran and a split up buggy tried to chase her but every time he moved Luffy would grab his foot and mess with him. She was almost gone until she was surrounded by ten low level pirates. Usopp glanced over to Zoro and saw that he had passed out after beating the other swordsman and was bleeding from his wound. Usopp looked back to Nami and decided to help her, even though he disliked her. He couldn't help but think back to the conversation Luffy had with him before they came to fight.

'I want her as our navigator bad Usopp.' Luffy had said.

'Why does it have to be her, she doesn't want to be here Luffy!' Usopp had yelled back.

'It doesn't matter Usopp, she might not have said anything but I can see the pain in her eyes. Me, you, Ace and Sabo have all had that same look, as if we had to carry the world on us.'Luffy said glancing over to Nami in the distance.

Usopp sighed and couldn't believe how serious and smart Luffy had become over the years. He might not be the smartest but he knew enough. The only reason people would think he was dumb is because of how straightforward he is about what he wants to do.

'I'll try and give her a shot I guess.' Usopp gave in. He never could say no to Luffy if he was serious and persisted on the topic.

'Don't worry so much Usopp we just have to treat her as a friend and eventually she'll do the same.' Luffy said while laughing.

Back to the present, and Luffy yelled, "USOPP HELP HER!"

As soon as he had said that, Usopp was in front of Nami already transformed. "I was already on my way captain!" He said. Nami just looked at Usopp with shock. It was no secret that Usopp didn't like her, but he still decided to save her before she got hurt.

Usopp spread his wings as the ten people charged and yelled, "FEATHER RAIN!"

Countless feathers shot out and cut the pirates until death. Usopp immediately stopped his attach when a sword swung at his head. He viciously looked at Buggy and spat coldly, "I would deal with you myself but the captain called dibs so I'd count my blessings. I'm not nearly as nice as him."

Buggy became pissed and just when he was about to charge at him again, when he noticed that he couldn't move multiple parts of his body. He looked back and saw that the straw hat had tied his body parts together and had only left his head, feet, and hands. "Give me my limbs back you jerks."

Luffy just laughed at the small pirate that had given so many people trouble. He threw his arms back and shouted.

GUM GUM:

*BANG*

BAZOOKA!

Buggy went flying as Luffy's arms shot back at incredible speeds. Usopp watched the clown fly and sighed hoping he wouldn't come back to annoy them. He walked over and kicked Zoro lightly saying, "Oy, Zoro you dead?"

Zoro grunted and Usopp took that as a sign that he was okay. He picked him up and followed Luffy only to meet an army of townspeople that had noticed a beaten up mayor that was already there before we had arrived. Assuming it was us, the townspeople chased us out while we stole one of Buggy's poor ships that had survived his rage induced stupidity of shooting cannonballs in the directions of the docks.

Once they were on the boat, Usopp woke up the sleeping swordsman and said, "Guys I need a favor."

Luffy asked, "What is it?" While Zoro just waited for me to continue. Nami didn't say anything either seeing as she just met us and wasn't comfortable enough to join our conversations yet.

"I want to visit my home island." Usopp said being dead serious.
