/"What are you doing here?/"

Nicole glanced up from the book her eyes were glued onto though she wasn't interested or paying attention to it what so ever.

She was currently sitting in the library since she had nothing better to do. She had gotten a hall pass from her teacher as she used an excuse saying she had to do some research for a project and nothing important was happening but really, she was just tired and cranky and not in a good mood.

/"Mind if I join you?/" Celia asked her. Nicole shrugged, /"Why not?/"

/"Why such a down mood?/" Celia frowned as she took a seat and looked at Nicole with a questioning look.

/"Tired,/" Nicole sighed, brushing off the question.

/"Why? Did you not sleep well?/"

/"No.. I mean I was.... distracted,/" she said slowly, choosing her words carefully because she didn't want Celia to ask more questions although she was grateful to have a friend who was concerned for her.
