:fighting The Old woman [Arc]

[Quirk city...6:50 pm]

The ringing sound of the store bells stationed on the streets resounded over and over again. It was getting dark so the movements of the pedestrians and cars were fast. Ryota was only walking back from the academy when he decided to take a short route at the lonely alley.

He hung his bag at his shoulder and his left-hand tucked in the pocket of his black trouser, his white academy shirt was untucked, and his red tie. Likely he shouldn't be dressing like this but Ryota was one to do the absolute opposite of what could be pronounced as rules.

Taking the route, he walked deep in a bit and suddenly stopped walking, as he stood looking forward, he suddenly felt something was wrong. Upon turning around he met with the old woman in the subways, the one who he thinks or rather knows is the cause of this hazardous world he's in.

"hello boy..'

She said, this time she was with a supporting stick as her waist was bent down, adding to the scary moment of Ryota's life was the old woman was in some sort of torn-up rag robe like those used in Merlin.

"you must be surprised how I suddenly appeared.."

"who or what are you, did you do all this, this world was it all your doing?" He said, more like he was scared of losing his life to someone who changed the world entirely.

"so sorry boy, but you never replied to the question at the subway"

"so what did you do, the normal world doesn't have magic, then how come could you do things that are similar to sorcery?"

"All I did was combine the two questions I asked, which you didn't reply, I brought the novel and some of the inhabitants to your world, and now this world will play the dangerous scenes in the novel"

Ryota felt the urge the kill this old woman right now, he dropped his bag and gritted his teeth as he spoke coldly while forming a fist.

"you didn't bring some inhabitants, you brought only the deadly ones and made some humans have control over the Cultivations"

"but you see, you're yet to know the role you play in this novel combination world, you didn't like to be a character, so I made you a character"

"Who the hell are you, and why are you doing all this shit.. do you know how many lives could be lost in this process"

Ryota's anger subsides a bit when he heard the old woman laughing like a mad woman, she even dropped her support and stood straight while laughing, she stopped after some minutes and added with a mockery voice.

"Like you ever cared about human existence, you selfish monster is talking about human life"

Ryota was confused, his formed fist was released as he wore a look of confusion, as if the old woman has two faces, she turned from the mockery one and wore the evil grin look as she continued.

"if you want to know how it all ends, its all in this book, you love reading novels don't you, well this one here will interest you since you're the hunted protagonist and also the antagonist"

She coldly proclaimed as she brought out a dark book while raising it for Ryota to see.

"then give it to me"

"no no boy, you only get to know how this apocalypse all ends once you land a hit on me before the timer goes off, and don't worry, for your sake no cultivation" She stated as a blue screen floating displays the countdown.

Ryota looked at the book she holds, focused his eyes back on her, and without wasting time he bolted towards her at full speed and punched.

However the old woman moved aside to the left and as Ryota stumbled forward, she picks her supporter and flogged him at his butt.

"lesson number one, respect your elderly" She commented.

Ryota turned around and punched again but the old woman kept on dodging his attacks like it was baby steps, he slide his leg aiming to take her off her feet, but she stamped her supporter down and blocked the leg.

Ryota looked at her and saw she was smiling, to think an old woman would stop his leg with a mere stick.

Before he realized it, the old woman hit his guts with the stick and as he stumbled up she wiped him by the neck and sent him cracking the wall with the impact.

"Lesson number two, always allow your elderly to hit you first"

Ryota suck up the pain he felt and confronts her again, this time he waits for her to make the next move, but the old woman was just standing there smiling with her eyes closed.

'if I plan my move well I might be able to land a hit on her..am certain this would work fine, I can't lose this bet'

Ryota dashed left right towards her like a ninja, as he reached a good range, the old woman sensed he would punch but unfortunately, Ryota leaped above her and gained his footing behind her, he quickly punched but his punch ceased at mid-air.

"sorry boy, but you ran out of time" She asserted while pointing at the top of his head as she kept on with the smiling face of hers.

With that he felt himself moving again but the old woman had already walked passed him, he wasn't angry for some reason, he felt like he loves the beating and all.

"come back to face a helpless old woman when you're stronger.."

She said as her words began to fade slowly as her appearance. Ryota took the yield of his bag and glimpsed at the crack wall before wondering how his shoulder isn't broken. Upon everything he heard the old woman say, the only one that truly bothered him was.

"why would she say I don't care about human existence, i mean am human"
