Chapter 7. The challenge of love.

Most times the challenges our love face doesn't come from far but within us. If it didn't

happen to you, you won't see it as a challenge

until it gets to your turn.

Phillip...... Can I call you love dear?

Dianna..... Ummmmm ummmm, well you

can but not at the office.

Phillip....... Ah my own office again?

Well if you say so. Let me drop

you off to your house.

Dianna.......Ok Phill.

He dropped her at her place, pecked her on

her forehead and drove away.

She went into her room and kept

wondering over what happened all the day.

After laughing and pacing around the house

she decided to call her sister on phone.

Dianna.... Hello

Amanda..... Hello sis.

Dianna..... Where were you all the day?

I came home to see you but saw

only mum.

Amanda...You came?

Well I went to see a friend but I'm

back now.

Dianna......Please can you come over here?

There's something I want us to

Phillip got home and quickly took a

shower, ate and kept wondering how to go

about dating Dianna, wondering why he feels

so good each time he's around her, he feels

like stopping the hands of time.

Phillip remembered how his mum warned

him over marrying from another tribe. Is of a

truth that he hasn't proposed to Dianna yet

but that's his intention.

Phillip whispered to himself, all my life I

have done what my mum wants. My mum

practically programmed my life affairs ever

since I was born till now but not this time.

I feel something special about Dianna and

I care about is to get a positive answer from

her.

Amanda got at her sister's place and

knock, kpam, kpam, kpam......

Dianna gets the door, welcomes her sis with

a hug and shut the door.

Amanda..... Sis hope all is well?

Dianna...... Yes dear, I came home to ease

off but mum couldn't let me. You

know her with her drama nah?

Amanda....Who doesn't sis?

Dianna....... The idiot that broke up with me

finally showed up here the other

day begging that I come back to

him. He made me loose interest

over an appointment I have with

someone. Though I threw him

out after several please.

Amanda.... Some men are not just worth

being being a man. Some one

who couldn't defend you from his

family's hatred showed up all of a

sudden and pleading to have you

back?

Anyways who's this friend you

have an appointment with?

Dianna...... His name is Phillip and he made

his intention of dating me known

to me today. I also got a new job

today and can u fathom who my
