Christabel ran downstairs after dressing up for school,she went into the dinning room to find Lucinda sitting with the kids and breakfast not yet served because she wasn't there .

" morning Grandma" she greeted.

" it's seems like this morning isn't a good one " Lucinda spoke

" maybe " she emptied the bunch of grapes she carries earlier and stood up to leave .

" are you leaving now ? " Lucinda questioned .

" yes, you know I don't eat until it's afternoon so bye" she room out of the house and dialed her friends numbers after sending them messages on Whatsapp.

" good morning babe " She heard a voice .

" morning Jordan" she hugged him and soon the rest came .

" where were you all cause I waited for what seems like an hour or two " she scolded the rest .

" chill we were waiting for Leah , you know she's the one who's always keeping us because she can't walk alone " Thompson explained and she turned to Leah who already put on an apologic face .

On there way to school they talked a lot and Christabel kept saying how excited she was because her parents were coming back from work that day .

When morning class was over , she went to grab a drink from the school cafeteria and sat down to finish it. suddenly the cafeteria became quiet and she turned to find Jerry ,the knew guy who just joined them walking in like a god .

some girls stood up from their sit and walked up to him , asking him to join their table but he politely declined saying he wanted to speak to someone.

She didn't care who so she focused on her drink and phone ,the thought of Lucy suddenly made her to miss her mom so she sent a message to her and immediately Lucy responded.

" hi Christabel " she immediately felt an urge to slap the person who owns the voice but she said nothing.

" hello" he said again.

" get lost " she said without staring up at him.

" come on, have I ever done something bad to you?"

" keep your questions" she took a long draw from her drink .

" but .." he didn't finish his sentence before she slapped him across the face and he never expected it.

" stay away from me and my business" she warned angrily.

Everybody in the cafeteria turned to the door to see the two couples who just walked in and Christabel turned to find her mom walking towards her direction.

" mom, dad " like a five years old child she ran to hug Lucy and Jackson .

' her hair is as long as her mom's hair' some whispered .

' they always come to visit her here in school every Friday, why ? '

' she looks like her dad and there's a little resemblance of her mom' they cafeteria was buzzing with gossip .

" Christabel" Jordan walked in but stopped to greet her parents.

" is it time for practice" Christabel asked Jordan.

" yes it is " he answered, " coach waiting for you at the field" he smiled before leaving.

" we will be leaving now " Lucy kissed her forehead and her dad hugged her again and they both left.

A girl walked up to her ,she was a senior who just newly joined their school, " Is that your mom? " she asked .

" yes " she answered.

" you really look like her , she beautiful''

" thanks" she left.
