Life as a Baby

"He looks just like you.":was the first thing Alex heard when his conscious came back.

Alex opens his eyes and saw some blurs around him.

"Congratulations!He is a healthy boy with Omega potential."

Gasps followed the sentence.

"See honey,how great our child is."Said a man likely to be his father.

"Even if he wasn't I would still love him."Said a women,her voice filled with love and care.

Alex: '...I can't see anything.'

White: 'It will probably take a few weeks for us to see something until then we can only wait.'

Red: 'Then let's sleep until then.'

White: 'Alright, See you later Alex.'

'Fuckers.':Alex thought as he brought his attention back to the people.

'Omega Potential?Only a few worlds use this terminology and this one is a modern one, based on the room I'm in. This cuts the list short to two worlds.' :Alex started to feel sleepy after thinking so much and decided to sleep.

*POV change*

Julianne looked at her sleeping newborn: "Look Jack, isn't your baby brother cute."

Jack looks at the baby carefully and said: "He looks ugly to me."

Julianne's face darkened, she stared at her new baby thinking how Jack was still a kid and decided to ignore his previous comment: "Alright Jack,You are 7 years old and as an elder brother you have to take good care of him."

Jack faced his mother and nodded with a face full of determination.

Esther: "Darling,what should we name him?"

Julianne thought for a while and decided: "Zed."

Esther: "Great name darling."

After spending some time with his wife,Esther said: "There is an important meeting and I will have to go."

Julianne: "Is it really that important?"

Esther: "It's about the revolutionaries.They have been making some trouble in one of the cities."

Julianne: "Alright then,take care."

Esther nodded and took his leave.

Leaving the hospital, Esther went into the car outside and went towards the Union's headquarters in Union City.Union City was an Island at the center of this world's land.Surrounded by all the other cities.

Arriving at a sky high building,Esther went to the top floor and arrived in a conference room with .After greeting the people there, he took a seat and after waiting for some time the meeting started.

*Few weeks later*(I will refer to MC as Zed from now on.)

Zed: 'Finally I can see now.'

Red: 'This is a pretty modern world.'

White: 'So, which world is it?'

Zed: 'It's a world called Flibasia, run by the world union made of 7 families and 3 guilds. It doesn't have any countries only cities exists here.Its a world filled with super powered individuals.'

Red: 'What superpower do we have then?'

Zed: 'I don't know, it's supposed to manifest at 5.'

White: 'Is the family the part of this world union.'

Zed: 'Yes,the Hendrix family is a part of the union.'

Red: 'What about your parents?'

Zed: 'My Grandfather is the current head of the family and my father is the next in line, as for my mother she comes from the Rosario family,one of the other family in the union.'

White: 'Is there any adventure guild or hero association here?That would be cool.'

Zed: 'There are 3 Independent organizations.

EASTON, which is the same as an adventurers guild, SIBYL is for research and development of all kinds of technology and genetics and DAERIOS is the biggest public corporation, people select/Vote for the representative and he represents them in the union.'

Red: 'Why would they let the representative of public corporation participate?won't it create unnesecary problem?'

Zed: 'It's a psychological tactic.'

White: 'How does that even work?'

Zed: 'It's the same as 'None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who believe they are free.'The union let's them believe that they have power to influence the union and that the union works for the people.'

White:'Tell us more about the wor..."

Zed interrupted white, saying: 'You're asking a lot of questions today,huh.'

Red: 'It's to let the readers in on the info about the world.'

White: 'Yeah,we will be doing this a lot in the future. When we visit other worlds.'

Zed decided to ignore their crazy ramblings about how they were in novel when he saw Jack coming into the room.

Zed: 'This guy again.'

Red: 'Fuck, this annoying guy came again. We will see you later. Bye.'

Zed: 'These motherfuckers.'

Jack came towards the crib and started poking him on the face: "Hey Zed,It's me your big brother Jack.Did you know moth.....(*Kid's Annoying Rambling*)…"

Zed: 'I've always found kids annoying but this one takes the cake. Let me grow a bit, I will send you back to the fucking hole you crawled out from.'

Red: 'But won't that be your mothers hole.'

Zed: 'Weren't you gone?You fucking bitch.'

White: 'No one's ever truly gone,we've always been in your head and will always be.'

Zed thought about this weird psychological quote by White and decided to keep the future interactions with these crazy voices to a minimum.

After a few hours of playing,Jack left and Zed tired,fell into sleep.
