Chapter seventeen: Tell me what happened

Blake first helped her to the infirmary before racing towards the alley, what exactly does she went doing at this area, a restriction sign was put up right there as a warning to the students.

He entered into the garage and started looking around cautiously, But the most confusing part was he didn't see a single person around except the lizards, crickets and spiders webs, infact walls were covered in dust, the huge pillars added to the gloominess Including the dirty walls.

Blake turned back to exit the garage when his gaze suddenly went to the barely visible object on the floor, he bent and take a closer look, it was a knife!.

Few minutes later he went back to check on Jennie in the infirmary.

Jennie woke and sat up on the bed groaning, her lower back felt as if it doesn't belong to her. She managed to get off the bed, she shivered slightly having a recollection of the earlier happening, those eyes reflecting deep hatred she never not even in her wildest imagination would have thought existed.

But why does the other party resent her that much? At least If it's was about good grades, she wasn't born with one she only worked harder! If she doesn't pushed her maybe Tasha might have ended her there?

The door was pushed open making her diverted her gaze to the door, completely reverting it from those pale fingers.

He doesn't came empty handed, he was carrying a white bag still with that frozen expression.

Oh goodness! returned to her the same guy who was confessing his love days ago. What the.... did she just thought of What is wrong with her? Was she scared of death that she's loosing her mind. It must be!

She almost shrunk, must he always keep this poker face it's frightening if he should be compared to a flower, definitely black lotus!

"You're awake." He said walking closer to where she sat, he dropped the plastic bag on the chair and said "Tell me what happened, bullied?"

She didn't responded instead she hung her head down staring at her fingers, infact this wasn't only being bullied she was almost killed, Blake who took her actions as confirmation said with annoyance "you don't just get bullied alright you do the bullies"

She slowly lifted up her head and stuttered "S..she got a...a knife"

"Who! Tasha?" He suddenly asked.

She nodded in confirmation, he wasn't surprised, as if he knew who was capable of doing it, a bad penny always turn up anyway, However, what she did she will pay else in any events she'll turn up simultaneously but since she got a knife, she intended to hurt Jennie, she went just too far this time around, he placed the bag beside Jennie who was looking with dismay and said "This i won't be letting slide, also the attendant informed me you're free to go home. I bought you food, eat and take the administered drugs"

"But you don't have any evidence?" She reminded.

Blake feigned being shocked and said "I don't? Then we have to create one"

"That, that.. that what if we're found out" she stammered nervously.

Blake said indifferently "If you keep getting this nervous and scared, how are you retaliating what she did, in every situation you have to be always firm! Unless you want to be cheated infact if you're unwilling I as well would not be letting this slide, that mean-spirited girl must be punished"

After leaving school that day, she explained every bit of what happened to Mrs Anderson who promised to make a report and make sure the other girl is punished.

On getting to the school the next day along with Mrs Anderson who looked furious, the other girl almost hurt her Jennie to the point of welding a knife?

On getting to the school principal office, they were surprised on hearing the same case has been reported even to the police force. "Who does" asked Mrs Anderson but the man replied "a classmate who witness scene, anyway the parents has been invited"

After few days, Jennie understand that the classmate who was at the scene mentioned by the man was none other than Blake, he truly took the case to greater measure, after being expelled from the school Tasha family had to tender her psychosis report, it was a huge blow knowing that Tasha was mentally ill, that could explained why she was obsessed with killing her. And the girl in huge glasses, she was forced by Tasha so she was only suspended for two weeks for not reporting such malicious act.

Jennie sat on the beach in the park, it was on weekend, this atmosphere was clear and unclouded as of the sky, the kids running around, to her it was obscured and serene, the frozen iceberg beside her was the only reason she came here, maybe if she could showed him some places he hasn't been to, yes you're right this guy hasn't been to a park before! That's absurd right? Maybe if she could show him some goodness of this world maybe he could at least melt.

"You see that, hilarious right?" She laughed pointing to the comical scene ensue between the group of boys conversing beside her, the shorter of them declared "Mom paid this laozi for everything infact I got paid before going to school, taking bathe and whatnot"

The other boy in pink sweater said "As if she once forgot you in the bathtub, see mom got the ice cream even if she forgot I dislike vanilla flavored, I will be at the pirate ship"

Blake growled with dissatisfaction and said "Not!.. I meant yes!" he forced a smile

Jennie rolled her eyes, who told her to dragged him along, since he went huge measure to secure her safety she doesn't get scared while seeing him again, maybe she was even delighted he did come with her. At least there was some progress
