Chapter 295: Crazy Sword Battle III

The moment the boss monster caught Akito's sword in mod attack, it then pulled him closer, as it suddenly raised its blade and slashed it down towards him. Seeing the danger right in front of him, Akito forcefully gathered his mana unto his sword, as he plan to break through the monster's grip and land a clean hit.

On that moment, just as the boss attack was about to land on Akito, he then successfully got his sword out of the monsters grip and immediately counter attack in the last moment.

"Tomura's Second offensive sword form Takai kinchō (High Strung)"

In a blink of an eye, Akito managed to struck an attack on the boss monsters, while also appearing above him, as if the person himself had used blink. Due to that attack that surpassed the speed in which the boss could perceive, the side of his headpiece literally cracked as it showed just how lethal was that attack.

If it weren't for the armor that the boss had on its body, Akito could have landed multiple lethal attacks which could take him down.

"Tsk! It's too shallow"

After Akito said this, he then spun around in midair, as he slashed downward, at the exact moment when the boss monster retaliated and slashed upward.

As both of their swords clashed against one another. Another shockwave reverberated all over the place, as Akito got pushed back due to the difference in weight. In that moment just as Akito landed on the floor, the boss monster suddenly blitz behind him as it attacked him without even giving him a chance to breath.

"First Form Inazuma no ugoki (Lightning Movement)"

"Third Form Kaminari no tsume (Thunderous Claw)"

From that one attack, Akito barely manage to block it, as he got blown away while sacrificing half of his body getting burned by the attack.

"Guh!!!"

But even if Akito crashed unto the floor, the boss monster kept rushing towards him and gave him no room to even attack him.

"First Form Inazuma no ugoki (Lightning Movement)"

"Fourth Form Rakurai (Lightning Strike)"

Once more Akito got wounded even more, as he got blown back, while gasping for air. However even if he were able to stabilize himself, he knew that the moment he did so, the boss monster would only attack him so fast that it would leave him open to any attacks. He literally can't follow the enemy. In terms of skills and utilization, he was completely defeated in the way of the sword.

The way of the sword, as a swordsman, the boss monster infront of him is completely on another level. With that Akito was brought to his knees, as fatigue begun to catch up to his body. But the moment he took a kneel, Akito saw the boss monster initiating a new move in which it surprised him to the point that he suddenly saw the way for him to get stronger without relying in multitudes of skills.

"Seventh Form Chiratsuku kokū (Flickering Void)"

As the blade was about to land on his neck, Akito then forcefully lifted his sword to defend, as his swords clashed against the enemy and literally blown him back in a single strike. Due to his own luck, he managed to save himself from that crucial moment.

While Akito was elated that he was able to save himself, the boss monster on the otherhand was surprised on how Akito was able to see the attack and manage to fend for himself.

Truth be told the attack that the boss monster initiated was faster than light, that most people wouldn't even notice the attack itself until it was too late. However Akito was able to see and react from that attack which only indicated one thing. Akito himself was evolving, he was evolving to the point where he would be able to achieve a new level of swordmanship. His potential was limitless.

Due to that, the boss monster saw Akito in a new light, as he then waited and stance himself for an attack. Due to that stalling of time, Akito was able to pick himself up as he was shocked that the boss monster didn't finish him when he was still down.

At the same time when he saw the boss monster in a stance while waiting for him, it seems to be waiting for him, in order to uphold honor and respect from a person of same profession.

Of course this literally shocked Akito, as he interpreted tha boss actions in his own way and respected its honor before entering into a stance.

Since the boss waited for him, he needs to show everything he got in order to kill the boss itself. That is the only way to reciprocate the respect that the boss monster had showed in front of its enemy, by going all out.

As both of them moved towards each other, both of them begun to clash once more, as Akito went all out in his every strike to bring the monster down. Soon after the 10th clash, both of them stepped back as they initiated a ranged attack.

"Tomura's Third offensive sword form Ken no Nami (Sword Wave)"

"Third Form Kaminari no tsume (Thunderous Claw)"

As both attack collided and exploded, Akito used another technique, followed by another attack to cover his clean chain attack.

"Tomura's First Tactical Sword form Megakuramu kuroi karasu (Blinding Black Crow)"

"Tomura's Second offensive sword form Takai kinchō (High Strung)"

In response to that, the boss monster used his own technique to sense the attack and moved accordingly to counter Akito.

"Fifth Form Sandā fīrudo (Thunder Field)"

"Second Form Raitoningu kumonosu (Lightning Cobweb)"

After that quick counter from the boss monster, the boss monster quickly followed up his movement in order to catch Akito off guard.

"Seventh Form Chiratsuku kokū (Flickering Void)"

However just like he initially guessed, Akito was able to react and dodge the attack, before he turns around and counter back.

"Tomura's Fourth offensive sword form 23-Pon no hakai no ken (23 swords of destruction)"

With that the boss monster countered back once more which caused another explosion to erupt in their collision.

"Fourth Form Rakurai (Lightning Strike)"

This time the explosion was so violent, that the whole island slightly shook which alerted people who were quite far from Akito's location.

Soon after that explosion, the boss monster's mana suddenly sky rocketed as it climb unto the heavens above, causing the sudden rush of wind which kept blowing everything away like some kind of a violent tornado.

Due to this the trees were uprooted, the smoke was cleared, and the ground was slowly being overturned. Infront of this, Akito saw the boss monster converting itsana unto his sword energy as he felt like the enemy itself was about to unleash its last attack in response to Akito's struggle. If his guess was right, then this will be the last attack of the boss monster towards him.

In order to reciprocate that level of will, Akito then begun gathering all the remaining mana he has on him unto his sword in order to counter the attack. No matter what he refuses to give up.

In a single breath, both of them unleashed their attack which caused an explosion similar to a hydrogen bomb exploding out in the open.
