It was evident that Edwin had been crying for some time, as he had tear-streaked cheeks and red-rimmed eyes. With a sad face and slumped shoulders, he looked defeated. As if he'd been through something hard and come out the other side broken and exhausted.
The look of dejection on Radin's face as he sat on the bed was clearly evident.
Rather than calming, his words had the opposite effect. The outcome after trying to comfort Edwin once again was awful. As a result, there was an increase in the intensity of Edwin's cry.
After that, Radin kept his mouth shut. As Edwin's emotional outburst continued, he gently caressed his head. Although he was crying, there was no sign that he was about to stop.
There came a point when Radin could no longer take it.
" Could you please explain to me why you are sad? Why Did you cry?"
Dena was feeling so dry that she thought she was going to die. In response to Radin's question, she spoke hoarsely.
