His vision slowly adjusted to the dim light in the wooden room as Radin slowly opened his eyes. Upon sitting up, he could feel the soft texture of the mattress beneath him. In the midst of this confusion, he was not sure where he was. There was a sense of stillness in the room that was enhanced by the darkness. All that could be heard was the faint sound of the wind outside.
" I had a dream, didn't I? But how come I couldn't recall it?"
In frustration, Radin rubbed his forehead.
As he gazed around the room, he took in the sights that were unfamiliar to him. In the midst of his wandering, he focused his attention on a chair beside the bed. Edwin was curled up on it in an uncomfortably crouching position. The sight of him there created a feeling of warmth in Radin's heart. At the moment, he was unsure as to why he was there or what was about to take place. His presence, however, was enough to improve His mood on its own.
