First Sign-In & Pick-Up

Ze thought that he was thinking about too many things at once, so he calmed down and decided to ask the system.

Ze : "System, what do you mean by test? Can you elaborate?"

[Yes, Master. Since I provide the host with benefits like never seen before, to be a host, the person has to pass the test given by me. Since the host is bound to become powerful in future with the my help, the test is based on the temperament and character of the individual. If the host looses himself in any of the tests given, I will leave the host permanently. If hosts passes, then I will bind myself to the host eternally.]

Ze thought about the test and felt that it was fair. If some other person uses the system for wrong purposes, it will be disastrous. He knows this because he still had that feeling of overwhelming power. The system might kill that type of person if he does those things, but it seems system likes to get to core of problem. With that, it is almost impossible to change the future outcome. Since that particular person was given everything when he was feeble but still keeps his rationality, most likely when uses most of time to get strong, he will not deviate the path.

Those are people with extraordinary temper and will. So the chance of them passing the test was high. And also is he the only one to pass the test and are there any previous owners of the system? Ze got everything cleared up with system explanation. It seems like everyone stands a chance for to be system's host but he got it. The system said that he was tailor-made for it, although he felt good, he felt like it was exaggeration. After all, all he wanted was to be strong, have an adventure and live an idle life. Ze : "Oh yeah System, what are functions provided by you?"

It is even better if you find a place with Great Dao paths and Elemental Laws. And also sign-in can be repeated in some places, as such I will inform you about it. Pick-up function is random, it can basically pick-up anything and everything, there are no limits. You have not signed in today, would you like to sign-in master?]

Ze got real ecstatic after system's explanation. He has two functions with single system. He will try to gain good things and become strong. Ze thought about signing in but what good thing comes at an inn, so he declined. He thought since it was not night yet, he would try to find a place. So he got out of room. Ze's first pick-up was spirit crystals and the amount was not bad. In this world, the currency was spirit crystals, spirit stones and spirit jades. Their grades vary from low-grade, middle-grade, high-grade, peak-grade. One cannot find spirit jades here, they belong in middle and upper heavens. In this continent, spirit crystals are the norm.

A 1000 low-grade crystals is equal to one middle-grade crystal. A 1000 middle-grade crystals is equal to one high-grade. A 1000 high-grade crystals is equal to one peak-grade crystal. A 100 peak-grade crystal is equal to a low-grade spirit stone. And the same follows for spirit stones. Not much is known about spirit jades. Even spirit stones, even though low-grade are only in the hands of Great Sects, Great families and other rich families.

Ze got total of 132 low-grade crystals, while he stopped at a certain place. He is very happy, one has to know that he only paid a single low-grade crystal for two day stay at the inn. The town he was in is called Arkan town. It is situated at the border of Fangre forest. Since it will have a beast tides from time to time, there is a sect present here overseeing this town. The sect master is said to be a very powerful individual who fend off beast tides many times. Ze is standing at the sect entrance. Since he is not a disciple, he cannot enter. So he was thinking whether to sign-in here. Then he heard system message.

Ze thought it was good luck to him, the sect here must be practicing in fire elemental law and they must have some treasures regarding it like a fire law pool or fire law trees. Otherwise the system wouldn't sent that message and it also seems he just needs be in vicinity of the place and not in front of it. What a blessing! So he immediately replied "Yes."

[Ding! Congratulations, Master. You got "Indomitable Void Celestial Divine Will." Do you want to assimilate it?]

Ze heard the name and was stupefied for a second. From its name it looks so overpowered so he replied to hold it for the time being. If he accepts it now, he was sure it would cause a ruckus. So he began to walk back to the inn.
