Chapter 117: When he was a child

Raven stayed in one of the rooms, recovering his stamina.

For the last thirty minutes, the woman hadn't left her place. She was too immersed in calligraphy. 

Just as silently he entered this house, Raven was planning to leave. By now, he believed that the search for him should also have stopped. 

The door of the cell wasn't broken, so in the first place, it didn't make sense for them to believe that he left the call. 

It made more sense to believe that he just left the Ocean, just like he appeared out of nowhere in the Tempe. 

The Search was mostly superficial, which he believed because they weren't searching the houses or interrogating people. 

They were simply patrolling from the sky to reinforce their preconceived notion that he wasn't here. And half an hour was more than enough for them to be convinced. 

Raven stood up, preparing to leave. 

He was just about to leave the room when he heard a lot of footsteps outside.
