Toxic Hearts

I stared at the alter deep in thoughts, when I heard the trumpet. Sudden silence all over the church, you could hear a pin drop. The sound of footsteps, his footsteps; echoed around the place. I looked away from the floor i'd already spent 5 minutes studying, and saw a man, if not an angel; staring intently at me. He had the most beautiful gray eyes, like a void you could get sucked into if you looked at for just even a second; and for some reason I didn't want to look away. The most pale and beautiful skin I had ever seen, and that beautiful dark ash coloured hair that graced his already stunning face. I was crossed on whether he looked like an angelic devil or a devilish angel.

I'm sorry.

Xavier hovered on top of her, looking at her the way a predator would look at his prey. He ripped her beautiful gown and continued with his passionate kiss. Then he went on to kiss her neck, sucking and nibbling on her skin.

"M-my king...." She moaned out. She felt a surge of electricity coursing through her body.

Hearing her call him like that made his eye colour flicker from gray to red in a split second. He was trying so hard to control lust.

He trailed kisses from her neck down to the skin between her cleavage.

"Hah.." She responded to his movements.

"M-my ki--." Not letting her talk by locking his lips with hers again.

Aliya's heart overflowed with emotions as tears streamed down her face. Surprised by the unexpected water works, Xavier halted and looked at her with a raised eyebrow, wondering if he had done something wrong.

"Why are you crying?, did I do something wrong?." Xavier asked.

'What!, am I crying?." Aliya thought, apparently not knowing when she started crying.

"Where you forced into this?." He asked, referring to the marriage. He made it clear that he wanted his bride-to-be to give her consent.

"N-no, i'm sorry." She apologized.

"Why are you apologizing?." He asked, looking confused.

"It is my duty as your wife to...to..."

"Enough!." Xavier said calmly, scratching his hair that didn't itch at all.

He lifted her and sat her on the bed.

"I would never force myself on anyone, especially the person i'm going to spend the rest of my life with." He said. "I'll tell Ruby to get you something to put on."

"I'm really sorry." She said, trying to stop the tears.

"I'm not angry, and also feel free to drop the title when we're alone, call me Xavier from now on." He said, then used the blanket to cover her body and left.
