( Ashborn Pov )

I stared at Jinsung and kept my shisnu targeted at Karaka in the distance.

" Do you really want to do this?" Jinsung asked.

" I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to show you what happens when you target my team." I replied as I gripped my sword.

I took out a stick that had some runes written onto and broke it.

[ Ding! Domain has been activated]

" Let me show you my domain." I muttered.

I watched the surprise on his face as he tried to escape, but he failed as we both teleported to a separate space.

" I summon thee, the Ice dragon." I chanted as the snowy environment shook as a road reverberated through the ground.

" Raaaahhhhh!!" The ice dragon, one of the dragons I managed to create a contract with.

" A dragon??" Jinsing muttered.

[ Mana Zone ]

The surroundings began to get colder the snow forecast in the air.

[ Absolute Zero ]

( Grant's the user a 2x in stats and ice attacks )

I rushed at Jinsung, who quickly defended himself from the dragon before trying to block my sword as it started to freeze his hand.

" Is that all?" He grinned.

" Ignition." Blue lighting surrounded the sword as I pushed Jinsung back.

I made sure to kick up the snow to make a coverage and to blind him. The snow is made from my shinsu, so he'll have a hard time detecting me.

The dragon went underground to attack when I commanded it to.

Jinsung blew the snow back and floated in the air as he tried to search for me. I threw my sword at him as it barely grazed him.

My next move was to hold him with my telekinesis and command the dragon to appear from the bottom.

Roaarr! The dragon roared before disappearing into snow as Jinsung retaliated with his shinsu.

" Crap." I cursed as my sword returned to my hand.

" Is that all?" He asked.

I sighed and teleported next to Jinsung, surprising him. The ting about mana zone is it give me absolute control over an area with mana.

Switching myself with the snow on the air was one of the skills. I swung the greatsword at him as he blocked it with his hand covered in shinsu.

But the lighting on the blade was cutting through it, and it was a matter of time before it reached his skin.

He swung his other fist but missed as I ducked and striked his chest. He was blown back as I fell the ground before rushing towards him.

As jinsung got up, I punched his face before swinging the sword, which he deflected. His blood sprayed onto the snow as I hit him again.

And as I swing the third time, his fist landed on my stomach. I activated my sharingan so I could see his next move.

I stepped back to dodged his shinsu before returning a barrage of slashes covered in lightning.

But in the next second his speed started increasing.

' There it is. He's not holding back!!' I thought as I tracked his movement.

[ Mana burst ]

I increased my physical stat and dodged his attack and countered.

We continued to fight, back and forth, almost killing each other as I used every skill and item I had to keep over powering him.

Even my armor barely survived.

We both barely stood as the domain started to expire. The both of us were bloody as we reached our limits.

Once the domain fell, I looked to my right to see the other Slayer candidate.

" Karaka." I growled through my teeth.

" Zero." He spoke.

" It's over... Ashborn." Jinsung spoke.

[ Regeneration is activated ]

[ Temporial Stasis activated ]

" Hehe, is that the new regenerating suit?" I asked Karaka, who didn't bother to answer.

I was trying to buy time for [ Regeneration] to finish healing. Hinsung managed to peirce through my skin and injure my insides.

[ Ashborn style: Thunderous Blitz ] Lighting covered my body as I blitz between Karaka and Jinsung with my sword.

This shocked both of them as [ Temporial stasis ] increased my defense and strength.

I paralyzed the two of them, and I gripped my sword.

" Pets see if your armor will hold!"

[ Rapid Impale ] the skill peirced through Karaka's defense suit and managed to damage him.

[ Ruthless Decimation] slashed Jinsung over his body despite his shinsu trying to protect him.

I quickly escaped after dealing damaged and returned back to the room.

" Gah!" I fell to the wall as I held my sword.

" Ash!!" Arie shouted as she went to my side.

" I'm fine! I'm fine!" I replied as my Regenration started kicking in faster as I'm out of battle.

" What did you do? You idiot?!" Arie shouted, and Yui and Seung hurried to my side.

" Dad!!"

" Ash..."

" I'm alright, just need a potion..." I muttered as seung put my spatial bag into my hands.

I took a potion out and drank it with the help of Yui. Now that I'm out of battle, the adrenaline wore off, and I could feel the broken bones and torn muscles.

" Just what the hell did you do? Ashborn?" Arie grabbed my shoulder, and I sighed.

" I... fought FUG." I exhaled.

" Are you idiot?" She asked.

" I... kinda won."

" Barely." Yui muttered as I tapped her head in response.

" Yui... I'm dying. I need hugs..."

Yui gave me a dead look.

" You're covered in blood." She replied.

" Sigh, you're right. My bad." I continued laying on the floor with Arie and Seung helping me heal.

[ Ding! Mana has been exhausted. You'll be under the effects of mana drain ]

[ - Strength and agility debuff ]

' Great...' I thought as Arie and Seung carried me onto my bed.

" Seung, I'm dying. You gotta give some snacks."

" No." He replied.

" Arie..."

" Nope."

I sighed and just rested my body for now.

( Arie Pov )

" Great! Just great!" I shouted as I looked at Ashborn sleeping as he recovered from his wounds.

I sighed and tried to relax my nerve and try to keep an eye on him.

This is the first to see him this injured and defenseless.

( Jinsung Pov )

I couldn't feel my body as it was still paralyzed.

" Damn, he just made quick work with you. Karaka."

Karaka didn't speak, but I could tell he was frustrated for himself as he barely had any time to react to him.

" All that talk and training, and you barely lasted a second." I chuckled.

"... Everyone said you could mess around with the elders... but today, you just learned there is another monster above you. He's dangerous."

" I'll kill him myself." Karaka, as he got up.

' Well, look at that. It seems his armor really is powerful...'

I thought as I looked at my body. I already battle Zero till the point we almost killed each other.

" Gonna leave me here?" I asked, but Karka ignored me and left with his wounds.
