Chapter 7: Precious Stones

"What?" I asked her in a loud voice, loud enough to catch the attention of everybody inside the auditorium who are making their final checks for the show. "All of them? At the same time?" I asked her, a bit panicking.

"They're living together at the same dorm, looks like food poisoning. They're at the hospital right now." Stacy answered.

"What are we going to do Mitch? We don't have enough models for our collections." Miles asked. He's one of the designers for the models who were food poisoned. I can see the desperation in my fellow designers' eyes and the worry that they might let a big chance slip away from them. This could be a big opportunity for them, for all of us. All of the people working with me for the show are truly talented and it would be a pity of they won't be able to show their full potential.
