Chapter 46: Girl's Night
"You look unbelievable," Max complimented Gemma as she walked out of his bedroom in her outfit for the night. He was the one who picked out Gemma's outfit, and was quite pleased with it. She was wearing a white, sequined romper and short, heeled boots.
He walked over to her and pulled her into his arms, his hands wandering up and down her body. Gemma giggled slightly and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a long and slow kiss.
"Why aren't you dressed?" Gemma asked with a pout after they'd pulled away. Max was saved from answering by loud banging on his front door. He smirked at Gemma as he jogged backward, toward the door.
"Saved by the bell," he said teasingly as he reached the door and opened it. "You're going to break my door down."
"You can afford another one," Kit quipped as she pushed past him and into the apartment. She took one look at Gemma and turned to Max with an approving smile. "You did good. You should really style her all the time."
