Receiving the system rewards

Throughout the day thoughts of this problem kept occupying his mind and even so there was nothing he could do to solve this problem.

He was wondering about the struggles in his life. If not for the precepts he would definitely be cursing now but the one thing that has been honed the most over the years was his will. He was still calm even when encountered with this problem.

"System is there anything I can do to make sure that while I receive my gifts and cultivate here, no one outside of this room would notice?" Wu Xin asked without any hope to actually getting a helpful response.

"No host, there is nothing you can do" hearing this response did not surprise Wu Xin as he just said within 'as expected' but right then the system continued

"However the system can release a barrier to temporarily conceal this place from heaven and earth. As long as someone is not within this room. They will have no idea what's going on."

Wu Xin was glad and quickly chanted Amitabh as he implored the system to go ahead.

The next second he heard the system confirm that it's done. He shocked and asked again to make sure but received the same response.

He did not delay and sat down in a meditative position and then received the sun golden body.

Boom

A small explosion occured and Wu Xin's body started glowing as he started changing fundamentally. The sun golden body is a rare and profound spiritual physique that allows its possessor to obtain the power of the sun. The transformative process did not stop spiritually but also physically as it allowed the flesh, bones and spiritual Qi of the owner to turn into a golden hue.

At the peak the owner can have the power of metal, fire and light. It was quite a powerful physique and as radiant light, as bright as the sun continuously bath Wu Xin the changes within him were unimaginable. This changes refined his muscles, tendons, bones and organs and before realising four hours had passed before everything came to a stop.

Wu Xin's body was emitting a golden brilliance and as he pulled in his aura it gradually disappeared till he returned to normal.

To his shock he was already at the fourth stage of the body tempering realm - the five godly organs.

The body tempering realm was divided into seven stages;

   - forging muscles

   - strengthening tendons

   - bone forging

   - five godly organs

   - blood changing

   - meridian opening

   - indestructible body

Wu Xin at this moment thanks to the sun golden body had forged golden bones, golden muscles, golden tendons and even his organs were golden. For all he knew was now a being made of gold.

Releasing a little bit of his spirit Qi, he could not believe how much energy was now within his body.

He did not stop however and continued receiving his rewards from the system

The next thing that entered him was the innate wisdom root which changed his body to be equivalent to the compatability to Buddhism that only reincarnated Arhats and Bodhisattvas posses. He was now just looking like a Buddha child as his understanding towards the scriptures increased to a terrifying degree. All the  difficulties he had faced before were now laid bare before him. It was as though a veil had being lifted from his eyes.

At this moment, he was not prideful but instead the aura around him had changed as his eyes gradually gained a hint of indifference--almost as if he had seen it all.

"Receive the bloodline" he said

The air started pulsating and the disturbance only increased with each passing second. If not for the cover provided by the system, the whole sect would have already woken up.

...

In a far unknown land were everywhere was golden and one could here chanting everywhere. Even the air itself and the earth were imbued with Buddhist energy,

Inside a temple a huge golden figure opened his eyes which glowed with boundless golden light and as it looked in a certain direction, its gaze seem to pierce through space and time as it landed on the world Wu Xin was in. But after searching for sometime and finding nothing it closed its eyes gradually and returned to meditation.

...

At this moment golden blood was flowing through Wu Xin's body and as it did much information seem to be revealed to him as  he completely unlocked all his meridians--even the hidden ones during this process.

Wu Xin had now reached Meridian opening and all he needed to do was forge his indestructible body and he would have completed body tempering.

He opened his eyes and using his inner vision could not believe what he was seeing. He looked like a reincarnated Buddha. He was sure he was now invincible in the body tempering realm and could even battle some spirit embodiment realm cultivators.

"The bloodline of Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, really lucky of me" he thought.

The Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva according to his knowledge is associated with spiritual power and is always depicted alongside Amitabh Buddha in the pure land. He represents the strength and wisdom needed to attain enlightenment.

Thinking of all this Wu Xin knew he couldn't be more blessed.

"This system is invincible" he thought.

The final item he had to receive was the Lotus Sutra other than the spirit stones which quite frankly at this point he didn't even consider as anything.

One week ago if you had given him those spirit stones he would have probably kowtowed in reverence to you but now he had seen greater things and they didn't mean as much to him any longer.

As the Lotus Sutra entered his mind he immediately and unintentionally entered a state of meditation.

The Lotus Sutra, one of the core manuals of Mahayana Buddhism alongside the Heart Sutra. It focuses on the development of compassion, wisdom, and the realisation of one's true nature. It provided Wu Xin with instructions on the deep meditation practices, visualisation techniques and methods for purifying the mind.

All this information was now within his mind and he only needed to contemplate and realise them gradually.

He continued his meditation and morning soon came without him even realising.
