Kameko's Evolution - [ Chapter - 13 ]

So then Nari ran back home using enchantments spells to help her get back home faster then after that she went back to the village near her house and went to look for the taming magic book.

It was finally time for her to do what she went out to do and then Nari hid herself and waited for when nobody was looking and popped out of the shadows and put the magic taming book in the dimensional fracture.

Then immediately she started going back home so that she could read the two books she got to tame the monsters outside and the one that she got from the village head and she was really excited.

After getting back she went down and went into the library and put the spirit book away first and she wanted to resd the taming book first since they really needed a lot more meat since hse missed the taste very much.

They only had fruits and vegetables because of their gardens so she wanted to have a farm of them and she was able to get the basic spell for the taming magic, it was "Tame", it was that simple.

So she excitedly went out of the tree then looked for some horned rabbits and rams then she just walked around the forest and tamed every single rabbit and rame she saw without any hesitation.

Then she made them wait near the tree because the dimensional fracture didn't have air and so they would just die if she puts them in there so then after taming a whole herd of rabbits and rams she put them inside.

She started moving them into the area she made before for them and started feeding them and then Nari killed two rabbits and one ram then she brought it to the cooking area Kameko made as he made cooking utensils.

Then she realized she couldn't cook with her body, so then she tried cooking with her magic instead and so Nari was bummed out because it was too hard for her level right now to control things like you have hands.

So she quickly went to Kameko to see if he could cook and she went to his room and he wasn't there and so she went to his training area to see if he was there and then when she went near the room there was a strong aura inside.

Nari was surprised that Kameko got that strong already and when she opened the door she found a monkey that almost looked like a human child sleeping on the floor then she asked, "Kameko?" when she said that it woke Kameko up.

Kameko stood up and asked, "Yeah?", it seems he didn't realized his body changed from before and so Nari controlled water to create a mirror and she said, "Look at your reflection." and so he did.

When he did he was surprised to find that he almost looked like a human and he shouted, "I'm becoming human!", Nari was a bit jealous that Kameko was becoming a human again and she was not.

But even so she asked Kameko, "Can you cook? I can't cook with my body.", Kameko said with a smile and confidence, "Of course I can cook!" then he ran into the kitchen they made finding all the ingredients were already prepared.

He looked like he missed the taste of meat as well and started cooking with speed and Nari was just waiting at the dining area they made then after a while Kameko brought out a soup that smelled delicious and it was created with rabbit bits.

Then the next meal was some rabbits barbecued to perfection and the last one was the roasted ram and it smelled great and so Nari asked, "Where did you learn to cook like this? Even if I had a human body, I wouldn't have been able to cook this.".

So then Kameko laughed and said sadly, "Well, it was from my previous life and my family loved my cooking before..." he said looking down, when a tear was about to drop, Nari saw this and tried to cheer him up.

Then said happily, "Ok let's eat! We haven't had meat in a while have we?", this definitely distracted Kameko since when she said that he quickly sat down on the table then started to eat with Nari as well.

While they were eating Kameko said, "It would be great if we had some rice, right?", as he said that Nari started thinking about it too and it just made her mouth water and she said, "I'll look around to see if the village has any.".

So then after they ate they went into their rooms and went off to sleep and when Kameko jumped onto his bed he immediately fell asleep after that delicious meal but Nari on the other hand didn't.

She started thinking on Kameko's evolution more because it seems like his flow with mana and aura improved greatly after becoming more human and so he got even strong from before.

And this made her more jealous and she just wondered on her bed if she would be able to evolve or become a human again as well but she realized that Kameko only evolved more human because he was a monkye.

But she was a frog and she was more worried about becoming a weirder or more ugly frog as well and so then she hoped that there was magic or something in this world that could change her back into a human.

Then after a while of thinking she fell asleep as well after all she was now very tired after helping the spirits then the next day when she woke up she excitedly went to their library to finally read the spirit book.

As she was reading the book a topic came up that Nari hadn't come up a lot from the other books she read, "Artifacts", these were rare things to find and mostly people with great power and wealth had one.

Then at one of the pages of the book it was called, "Artifact finder", Nari was immediately confused and then she read the description of the page and she was very confused by it.

It just said, "It will help you find an artifact that will suit your needs greatly." but it didn't say how it works or if she could use it multiple times and so she tried many different things like giving it mana.

Then she tried saying and magic chants to it but nothing worked and then after a while of reading she bumped her head on one of the shelves because of her carelessness and a bit of blood dropped onto the page.
