Chapter Ten

Going to the mall is one of my escapes. I somehow feel better when I go to the mall and just roam around. Especially when I am buying things I don’t even need. It is my stress reliever but then for the whole week I don’t have money. That’s the consequence of spending money like a rich person but actually broke.

I and Liza went to the nearby restaurant who serves pizza. We are craving for pizza for the whole ride! I am so hungry and I can’t function well without food! Grrr.

When we finished doing my grocery we immediately went home. I got home and just lay down on my bed, I am so tired! I don’t know what to do, I feel tired but when I’m closing my eyes I can’t sleep.

I took my phone and saw a notification, a message. Andrei? Why is he messaging me? I decided to open the phone and clicked his message.

Andrei: “I know the answer to your post.”

Me: “What?”

Andrei: “Lee Min Ho.”

Me: “huh?” what is he talking about?

Andrei: “Your imaginary boyfriend.” What? I keep thinking what is he saying; did I post something like that?

Andrei: “Just treat me milktea. Macha flavor, thank you.”

Me: “HAHAHAHAHA wrong.” I don’t have a boyfriend in the first place and if he’s talking about my oppa’s then Song Joong Ki is my first oppa ehehe

We continue talking to each other and I must say I enjoy talking to him. I don’t know why I feel this way. I was not even sure if he already moved on.

Days passed and we’re still talking to each other. It’s casual conversation talking about random things and some things that both of us like. He also like kdrama like me! I was so shock because I didn’t expect him to be watching Korean drama. Some boys find it boring and cringe. But him? He even knows a lot of kdrama than me.

Liza and I are going to a shopping center where everything is cheap; this is the place we like. We are buying things for our grandmother’s birthday party. We are in charge of the customize shirt and it was designed by me hehe.

“Do you think we can buy everything today?” She asked me

“I think so. We can get the shirts tomorrow we don’t have anything to carry now. So might as well buy everything today then tomorrow come back here with just the shirts. “ I said as I look around thinking of what can we buy.

“Do we have games prepared for the party?” She asked me as we continue walking around

“Who’s gonna be the MC though? She or he’s the one who should be thinking of games.” I said

“You are the MC, Art.” She said and I just stared at her, is he serious? I don’t even know what games we should play.

“You should think games about kids and young adults.” She said

“What? Wait I don’t even know a game that will entertain everyone.” Oh gosh! This is not right.

“Then search about it when we got home. And also think about the flow of the party.”

WOW. Just wow. I’m so nervous just by thinking about it.

I immediately chatted Andrei, I don’t know why but I feel like telling him what just happened. I took a picture of what in front of me and told him that I’m so tired.

Why do I update him?

Andrei: “Wait. Can you ask how much is team secret shirt?”

I looked at the picture I sent him and I saw the shirt he was talking about.

“How much is this shirt?” I asked the sales lady

“Ma’am this is pre order. It was just a display.” She said

“Oh okay thank you.” I said and I chatted Andrei telling him it was pre ordered.

While we we’re in the car and I’m waiting for Liza. She was buying shoes for the party. I was just waiting in the car because I already have shoes and everything I needed for the party we are preparing. While waiting me and Andrei are talking. I don’t even know what we are talking about anymore. We we’re just talking about random things. I find it comforting whenever I’m talking to him I don’t even know why I feel like that.

Andrei: “Do you wanna meet up?” I don’t know why but I smiled at his question.

Me: “Are you ready for that?” I asked him because we’ve been talking about meeting but he was always ‘I’m shy’

Andrei: “I think so.” He said, he’s not sure hahah

me: “You’re not sure. Hahaha”

Andrei: “I’m ugly.”

Me: “Can you stop saying that? You are not ugly.”

Andrei: “Thank you.”

Me: “Stop saying that okay? You are not ugly. I swear. I’ve seen you in person and you are not ugly.”

Andrei: “But I feel so ugly.”

Me: “I won’t make you feel like it. You are wonderful!” I am mad to those people who make him feel this way.

“Hey! Open this door! It’s so hot!” I didn’t hear Liza until she was banging the window.

“I’m sorry my mind was so occupied.” I said as I opened the car door.

“I can see that. I was calling you for a long time.” She said as she was fixing herself.

“Sorry. Did you buy everything you need?” I asked her as I started driving.

“Yes, I got everything I need. And I am so ready for this party!” She said as if she already forgot what I did.

“That’s good. Tomorrow we need to go back here for the shirt and distribute it to the family.” I said, today is so tiring but at the same time fulfilling. We are preparing the grand party for our beloved grandmother.

“Yes, yes, yes. You’ve been telling me that since forever!” She said fixing her seatbelt

“What are you doing?” I asked her because she looked like she was having a hard time doing her seatbelt.

“I was trying to push this seat back. I want to sleep!” She said

I chuckled, good thing it was red light, I helped her fix her seat so she can sleep.

“Okay thank you, goodnight!” She said and just closed her eyes.

As we reached my house I immediately looked at my phone and I saw Andrei’s chat.

Andrei: “I was thinking if we can see each other tonight?”

Andrei: “If you’re busy it’s okay though hehe.”

Andrei: “Are you there?”

Andrei: “I guess you guys are on the way home. Take care.”

As I saw his chats, I slapped my face because I forgot to tell him that we are on the way home earlier.

Me: “Hey, I’m sorry I forgot to tell you that we are on the way home. Yes, we can see each other tonight. Do you have anything in mind where we can go?”

I send him the message and then started fixing everything we bought. We are having a huge party and we are the one who was in charge of buying things and organizing everything in the party. We didn’t hire an organizer because we are thinking we can do it by ourselves.

Andrei: “Oh I think I can’t see you tonight.”

Me: “Why?” I asked him

Andrei: “I’m shy.”

Me: “You are cancelling because you are shy?” I can’t believe it but still it was reasonable.

Andrei: “Yes. I’m sorry.”

Me: “Oh no it’d okay. Just tell me when you are ready.”

I don’t even know why I keep on talking to him when I can talk to other guys. I was just waiting and wanting to meet him. I don’t know what’s happening to me!!!

ARTEMIS WAKE UP! Why do you feel like this?! I feel like something is about to happen. Am I ready?!
