What's on your mind?

This was one of those days in the Closed Space, where they were lucky enough to see what seemed to be a sunset. A small light peaked over the horizon of the vast lake. Xinyung knew that it was going to disappear soon, and the night that always filled the sky will soon return. He just wished the Lucyndth was there to see it.

After Xinyung got rid of all the blood that covered Lucyndth, he used bandaging from Lucyndth's bag to wrap the wounds up. When he was done, he took a good look at Lucyndth. It would be hard for anyone to believe that he was a boy. His features were so soft and delicate. Xinyung hesitated as he placed his hand against Lucyndth's face. He wanted to take care of Lucyndth. He was like...a brother. Xinyung thought of a brother, and thought that it didn't really fit how he felt, but decided to keep it like that. "A brother." Xinyung said out loud. He thought it didn't explain correctly how he felt, but, how did he feel? He met this boy a few days ago, and knows nothing about him. How can he possibly feel? But then again, Lucyndth only met himself a few day ago. What does he know about himself that Xinyung doesn't? So far, Xinyung knows more about Lucyndth than Lucyndth knows about himself. So, how does he feel? Xinyung removed his hand from Lucyndth's face and started to stroke his hair gently. He's not like a brother, he's like a son. Like my delicate child that I have to protect, Xinyung thought inside of his head.

The feeling of someone holding Lucyndth woke him up. He opened his eyes, and the blurry sight of Xinyung came to view. He furrowed his eyebrows and tried to push him away, but his arms were to weak. "What are you doing you germaphobic creep? I hate being touched, get away. What were you thinking?" Lucyndth started to complain, and weakly tried to swat Xinyung away. Xinyung stared at him blankly. Lucyndth felt uncomfortable. This was usually the part where Xinyung says something sarcastic, and then drops Lucyndth in the water, but he didn't.

Lucyndth looked into Xinyungs eyes, and generally felt concerned. "What's on your mind?"

Xinyung furrowed his eyebrows, and waited few seconds before he decide to answer, "I just realised that you act like a helpless child, that I have to protect. It's like I'm a single parent watching over a helpless baby."

Lucyndth was furious! He didn't act like a baby. "HUH?!" Lucyndth cried as Xinyung let him roll out of his arms and into the water.

Lucyndth struggled to sit up . He spat out water and glared over at Xinyung, who was now sitting in the tall grass, looking for something inside the bags. Lucyndth slammed his non-injured foot in the water. Once he saw that Xinyung didn't care to notice, he did it again, and then again.

He slammed his hands into the water, causing a great splash, and continued to glare at Xinyung, "I do not act like a child!"

Xinyung finally stopped what he was doing and looked at Lucyndth, "Only a child would splash around trying to get attention." Xinyung then resumed in what he was doing.

Lucyndth continued to splash around angrily in the water, "I do NOT act like a child!"

Xinyung tossed an apple to Lucyndth, and bit the other apple that was in his hand. "Only a child would throw a temper-tantrum saying that they're not a child."

Lucyndth bit the apple and mumbled, "I'm not a child."

Xinyung put his apple back in the bag. He then got up and sat down in the water beside Lucyndth. "Be a good child, and don't talk back to your father."

Lucyndth grabbed Xinyung and pushed him in the water. It took all the energy out of his arms. They were now weak again.

"Since when were you my father? A father doesn't let his son almost get killed!"

Xinyung stood up and combed his long hair with his fingers, removing it out of his face. He then gave Lucyndth a slight smirk, "Are you sad that I son zoned you? Would you rather me refer to you as my future wife?"

Lucyndth's face turned red as his hand roamed under the water, looking for something to throw at Xinyung. He sighed after he realised that there were no sharp objects to throw at him. He turned away from Xinyung and looked at the apple that was disregarded in the water. Lucyndth was actually hungry, and didn't notice that he dropped it while he was dealing with Xinyung.

Xinyung saw the disappointment in Lucyndth's eyes. He got out of the water and walked through the grass on the lake's shore towards the bag. He didn't want to waste food, because it was Scarce, but he couldn't let Lucyndth starve either. Lucyndth watched him in confusion. Xinyung noticed the confused eyes upon him, but he didn't bother to look up and meet them. He pulled out some small slices of dried fruit that was in a small pouch. He thought it would be something nice to keep if they were slightly hungry along the journey. Xinyung waved the bag in the air and raised his eyebrows, indicating that it was for Lucyndth.

Lucyndth squinted in suspicion. He slightly cocked his head, telling Xinyung he didn't trust it.

Xinyung rolled his eyes. "Why is it that you think that everything I do for you is foul play? Do you want it or not? I'm going to put it back if you don't want it!"

Lucyndth eyes grew wide, "Well! As long as it's not poisoned." He started out of the water and grabbed the small bag of dried fruit from Xinyung.

He glanced at Xinyung as he sat down in the grass. He continued to be a little suspicious, but that suspicion soon disappeared once he got a mouth full of dried fruit. Xinyung chuckled, and watched him for a little bit before getting up.

He dusted of his hands as he spoke, "You can sit there and eat. I'm going to wash off my clothes. As you can see, you got your disgusting blood all over me. You could've bled your disgusting blood anywhere else!" Xinyung complained as he took of his shirt.

Lucyndth's face went slightly red as he looked away, "Who told you to try and hold me while I was bleeding out?" Xinyung smiled and bent down to wash his shirt.

It was quiet for a while, if you don't count the cries of an unknown beast every once in a while. After some time, Lucyndth was done eating the dried fruit and put the remains of it in his bag. He was now on the lookout for any bloodthirsty beast. Xinyung finally got out most of the blood stains from his shirt. There were just a few small spots here and there. Lucyndth's turned to Xinyung once he saw that he was no longer busy. "What are you waiting for? I'm tired! I need your help to find somewhere to sleep. If we stay out in the open, we're certain to be murdered by something out there." Xinyung smiled and laughed. His laughter abruptly stopped, and his face went stone cold serious.

"Hey! What's wrong with you? Come on! We have to go, before something finds us!" Lucyndth started to walk towards Xinyung. Xinyung put his hand up, signaling for Lucyndth not to move. He mouthed the words, "Don't follow me." Lucyndth started for him as he screamed, "Don't follow you whe-" Lucyndth's words were cut off by what he just saw in front of him.

Xinyung was pulled underwater by an unknown force! Lucyndth stood in shock for a second before stammering into the water. His eyes grew wide as he panicked to find Xinyung. He splashed through the water, and stopped once he saw that the water was calm. There was no sign of him anywhere.

Where's Xinyung? (/OoO\)
