It took a great deal of effort for either boy to pull apart from each other this time around.
Jake, especially, felt like he could trust Kaiden more now after the little talk they just had.
He expected Kaiden not to feel down about telling him all he'd just said to him. Because if he ever was to feel that way, then he was always going to be there to support him and love him.
More importantly, he wasn't ever going to judge him.
He wanted Kai to know how much his personal secrets were going to be kept sacred.
''Okay, love.''
Jake decided to be the hero by pulling away from the embrace first.
He said:
''I suggest we get back to playing the game then. Do you still want that?''
''Of course.''
''Oh, you do? I thought you would rather go home already.''
''No, Jake..''
Kaiden held his hand and beamed at him with a glimmer in his eyes.
''I'd like us to make a bet.''
''And what's that?''
