In the Treasure Vault
When XueYa had talked about treasure vaults, LiangLin had expected an underground vault that was overflowing with gold and silver, trunks over trunks of gems and jewels stacked to the roof.
What he didn't expect was - well - bookcases. Dark mahogany bookcases that lined the tall white stone walls, cases that were neatly arranged next to each other across the room so that one could walk in between the shelves.
It was… quite underwhelming. He had expected ransacking - digging his hands into piles of gold coins and tossing them about while finding something special.
"You look disappointed," XueYa mumbled into his ear before his arm brushed over LiangLin's waist briefly. A small peck was placed on his cheek before XueYa pulled away and started towards the first shelves in the back, stacked against the walls.
