Chapter 31 : Alone....

"Yeah, you should come as well. Since the number of people will decrease in the first few seconds, I think inviting other trustable people would be better for the ceremoney"

Hajin was on call with Soohyuk. The talk was about increasing the number of guests, and also making the ceremoney viewable to the public through astral projections. Of course, everything related to the scale of these events was managed by Hajin, as he was the only one with enough power to do so.

Although Rachel could do the same, she could make a mistake as she was not really experienced in using her powers even now. Hajin on the other hand was a better option.

Hajin knew that there would be Djjins coming to the ceremoney in disguise as famous celebrities, and he planned to get rid of them all at the same time.

But if he did that, than the number of people in the ceremoney would decrease by A LOT, which would give a negative impression on the public's eye, thinking that the currently, or more specifically, Clancey Islet, didn't live up to it's name as one of the most safe places in the world.

Although Hajin had no problem with it, the same couldn't be said for the nation's natives and also the Royal Family, as it would dirty the name of the Royal Family, something that Rachel was also a part of. That's why he didn't want it.

"But Hajin-ssi, even if I invite all of our angecy's major investors and acquaintances, I doubt it would be enough to fill the emptiness." Soohyuk explained.

When Soohyuk heard the matter for the first time, he was extremely shocked as he didn't expect Hajin to be a part of something of an international scale. Not because of power, but because it was not in his personality. Hajin from his perspective wouldn't go through such hassles to do this normally. But when he found out that it was because of Rachel, his family, he finally understood.

"I already guessed that, that's why I invited many more famous figures who I know won't be bothered by the situation. So expect to see a few surprising faces."

In any case, everything was according to plan. If the number of non-Djjin guests outnumbered that of the Djjins, it wouldn't be too much of a problem by eliminating all of the Djjins.

After some more planning, Hajin ended the call as he looked around and smiled.

"..." Rachel was sitting on a sofa besides him in the office, while Elizabeth was playing with Evandel's hair, sitting on the chair in his front as Arthur also sat besides him.

"I'm guessing whatever you were planning was successful." Arthur asked as he layed back on the couch.

"Yep." He replied as he looked at them for a few seconds.

"I think you should come to the ceremoney as well. It will be a good vacation from the usual office environment that you have around here all the time." He told them.

"Huh? Where did that come from? Well, we can't even if we want to, there should be someone to protect the castle when most of the security is at the ceremoney ensuring the safety of the guests. We can't just leave everything like it is, we don't have the luxury to do so as much as you." Arthur replied, annoyed at the end. He was clearly tired from all the work, but he didn't have any choice. He was the King of a whole damn country, he didn't have time to go around and have fun.

"*sigh* yeah." Elizabeth just sighed as she hugged Evandel.

"We're bored too y'know? It's just that we can't leave to do these things like you..."

Indeed, even though Elizabeth had more freedom in that regard than Arthur, she was still the Queen and the Vice Guild Leader of the ERC. Most of her time was spent in the office or with Dungeoun Raids, she didn't get that much free time, even if it was more than Arthur.

"That's not a problem though? If you really want to come, I can just construct a magic barrier around the castle so no unauthorized person can enter, just like with Clancey Islet." He explained.

"... But wouldn't that stress you out even a little? Besides, you already have to form one around the Clancey and also manage the astral projections that you talked to us about, and also all the other things. I don't think a normal person can do extra work on top of all the other things, even if that person is strong." Elizabeth said.

She was genuinely worried that Hajin might over-work himself. After all, she didn't want him to stress himself out, something she thought her daughter wouldn't like.

Arthur just noded, indicating that he thought the same.

"Nope. In the first place, you forgot that I am not a "NORMAL" person in any regard. Also, if you didn't knew, I have an infinite source of magic power and my other energies like nothingness or my special mana. There's no such thing as "overwork" for me."

"Hmm, still, you can still get tired mentally right?" She retorted.

"Not really, all the process of calculations and maintaining my skills is done by my [System], so there's no workload on my brain. All I have to do is think of doing something, and the System would do it." He paused and continued after taking a deep breath, "Besides, I think it will leave a much more positive remark to the public if you guys showed in the event. And it would also symbolize that the guild is back to its peak and has enough power to not worry about any anonymous invation."

This made them loose in thoughts for a while.

"Sigh* very well. I guess it'll be fun to see the faces of those Djjins and our enemies when they find out that they are doomed~" Elizabeth explaimed, getting sadistic at the end.

After all, even with all this, they didn't forget what the Djjins did to their family, what they did to their country and their closed ones.

That was something that naturally increased the urge to exert revenge on the other party.

And that was the case here, they still wanted revenge on their Djjins for what they did to their country in the past. Even if the country was now better than ever, the darkness of revenge in their heart hadn't vanished, it was just that it slowly died down, but a little of that darkness still remained, awaiting its salvation.

"..." Rachel was getting the chills from watching her mother's behaviour.

Actually, Elizabeth was not this much bold previously. She was actually a refined queen and rarely showed just behavior.

'I guess power does change people in one way or another...' She thought.

"Nice. Now than, to keep my part of the deal..." He smirked and closed his eyes.

'System Command : Construct Barrier'

He let the system take over his body as it carried out the process of calculating the magic power, formulaes and everything else.

After a few seconds, Hajin opened his eyes, which had turned from silver to deep gold, pupils replaced by gears that were turning at a rapid face. It was a sign that the System had taken over the body, something that Rachel knew as well. The others also guessed it since they could also do something 'similar'

[Successful. Forming magical formulaes and circles. Successful.]

[Activating Skills...]

Hajin's eyes glowed bright gold for a few seconds as visible magic power started leaving his body into nature. Soon, everyone felt the existence of countless magic circles around them. The barrier had started forming...

[Creating Second Layer : Absolute Defense... Successful!]

[Creating Last Layer : Nihilistic Hazard... Successful! Barrier has been successfully formed.]

Hajin's eyes closed again as the magic intensity in the air died down, He opened his eyes again, which had returned to normal.

"..." Everyone was silent. Arthur's and Elizabeth's eyes were glowing slightly as they embedded magic power into it, trying to see the changes around them.

"Unbelievable... this..." Arthur muttered while Elizabeth kept staring at what looked to be empty space in the surrounding.

They could also feel the energy that was covering their body, a foreign yet familiar energy that had formed around their body, acting as a defensive shield protecting their body.

Meanwhile Hajin was silent as the System was transferring every information about the barrier that Hajin needed directly into his brain.

Processing the information, he also kept looking around, observing the countless layers of magic felt in the atmosphere. After everything was processed, he turned to Arthur and Elizabeth.

"This is an absolute barrier that was made from my special type of mana, Nihility. It can withstand any attacks. Furthermore, only allowed individuals can exist inside the barrier. If someone with bad intentions to the barrier's creator exists within it, that person will be erased instantly."

"Also, it does not require energy to maintain as it absorbs energy from the space around it. Simply say, it's an absolute defense that can never break and will remain for eternity, or as long as the owner wants." He explained its fuctions, causing their mouths to open wide in surprise.

"Now than, I think this is pretty much enough from my part, so make sure you come to the ceremoney and let yourself take a rest from the daily boring shedule so you can have some fun too."

"I guess..." Arthur replied.

After some more talk, they went to their rooms as it was already night. Besides, they didn't have anything much to do either. They could only wait for tomorrrow's event.

Rachel was the first to enter their room, followed by Hajin. Evandel wasn't here as Elizabeth requested them to let Evandel sleep with her for a few days.

According to her, it was because she wanted to know her granddaughter more, but in truth, she just wanted to spoil her. Well... not like Hajin and Rachel don't do that already...

They had already eaten dinner, and it was 11 PM, so they went to the bedroom right away.

"..." Rachel was silent for some reason. Which confused Hajin, as sleeping together was not something new. They were already used to it. But what he missed was exactly what was going on in Rachel's head.

'This... it's the first time I and Hajin would be sleeping together... ALONE.'

Yep, that was what seemed embarrassing to her. Even until now, when they slept, Evandel was always with them, so neither of them had the change to try something excessive.

"... I'll go change to my pajamas." Hajin said and went to the dressing room.

"..." Now Rachel was alone in the room.

She slowly approached one of the closets, revealing clothes beneath.

This was actually Rachel's room when she stayed in the castle, so she knew every corner of the room. That also meant that she knew what thing was placed at what place in the room.

Pulling out her night dress from the closet, she approached another corner of the room and pressed a button, which revealed a small changing area behind the furniture.

After a few minutes, Hajin also arrived the room again while wearing his pajamas.

Entering the room, he walked a few steps but suddenly frozing when he saw what was in front of him.

She was wearing a bluish purple nightgown with white laces at the sides. It was not that revealing from the upper body, but it revealed her thighs quite a bit, as well as a bit of her chest and upper shoulders.

'He's here!!' Outside, she looked quite composed, annoyed even, seemingly waiting for Hajin to get on the bed so they could sleep, but inside, she was also a mess. There was a small blush on her face as hiding her emotions completely was impossible in this situation, but it was still not that noticable, at least normally.

Hajin slowly approached and got on the bed from the other side, slightly embarrassed. It was not the most embarrassing sight, but that didn't mean he was used to it.

'... this is the first time she tried on something like this... she looks so good that I could...!'

'No! Shut those thoughts Hajin! this is just a bit different from usual...' He tried his best to keep himself from doing anything weird, but couldn't in the end.

Jumping towards Rachel and pulling her into his embrace, he looked in her deep blue eyes that looked even more captivating.

"This... this is new, isn't it...?" He asked.

"Yes..." She averted her face to hide her blush. It was clear that she was expecting something from this...

It was not that she was afraid to try it, but because at those times, Evandel was with them, and the chances of getting caught by their daughter, which would be really embarrassing, was quite high.

""..."" Both just silently stared at each other's faces. Slowly, their faces drew closer until their lips finally met.

"Mmh~" Rachel let out small muffed moans as they kept kissing each other.

"...Mm~~" Rachel clasped her hands around Hajin's waist while Hajin moved one of his arm to her head and the other to hold her from the waist, caressing her back slowly but gently.

They separed to take small breaths as streaks of saliva formed between their mouths but soon continued from where they left.

This continued for a while until both of them were satisfied.

Of course, they made sure to be within each other's limits and only kissed... ok, maybe it was in a litte erotic way, but still! They made sure that they don't go too far. If they did that, everything else would slowly get boring! That was also why until now, they held themselves back from indulging themsleves in THE act. It was because they now had eternal life, so doing something like this so soon would make it boring later on.

Now, both were laying next to each other inside each other's embrace.

"... Shall we sleep now~?" Hajin asked as he covered himself and Rachel with the blacket.

"Hmm~"

"..." He slowly closed his eyes as he pulled his arms around Rachel, who slipped closer, closing the distance even more.
