After the alligator barrier was breached, the one-eyed Kobold reached for his macuahuitl and advanced toward his opponent. It appeared that the fistfight was over when the opponent's ether was destroyed; all that remained was to kill the opponent and give him a warrior death.
In a unique method, the Kobolds paid homage to their god by using the soon-to-be victim's body as a sacrifice to their god after they killed him in single combat. This was an honorable death that brought honor to both them and their god.
