Second Midnight

I take a sip of water and sit down, the next midnight is far from now and I must do as much as I can to prepare. I begin to stretch and look through my inventory, I had hundreds of rat teeth and lots of rat fur. I put them up for sale on the market place and they quickly sold out, the teeth of a monster rat were very tough and sharp so they made great makeshift weapons, the fur was warm and very durable so it made good clothing.

This gave me lots of coins to play with, I started by upgrading all my stats to ten.

<Agility Lv.6 -> Lv.10>

<Constitution Lv.3 -> Lv.10>

<Magic Power Lv.1 -> Lv.10>

I didn't have any magical abilities but it may prove useful to upgrade this stat for future use. I made my way to Pildu's Green Zone and called for him, "Pildu! Unless you want to die get your ass out here." Pildu quickly rushed out of hiding looking confident as he did before I threw him to the rats. "Yoo Joonghyuk, i've been expecting you." Good, then he should expect this, I picked him up and ran into the tunnel once more.

I ran further into the tunnel and accidentally triggered something, the tunnel lit up with green light, I found a secret Green Zone in the tunnel. I threw Pildu into it, "Start setting up your turrets, help me kill these rats and you can keep any coins you make." The talk of money seemed to perk him up, he began fortifying the green zone and began to practice my punches.

After a few minutes the rats started to emerge from the darkness, we began to fight and the rats kept coming, 100, 200, 300, the rats slowly shrunk to a small number. I grabbed Pildu and began to run back to the station, if we kill all the rats then they might evolve again and the difficulty will increase.

"What are you doing?!" Yelled Pildu, the thought of losing possible money brought tears to his eyes, "If we don't stop killing the rats they might change into something stronger." This statement seemed to snap him back to reality, I carried him into his restroom zone and forced him to let me stay. I opened up the store on bought a basic Iron Sword, it was only a temporary solution until I found a unique weapon.

I went back to the tunnel without Pildu, his abilities may prove useful in the future so I would like him alive. I killed off the last rats in the tunnel and awaited the second wave.
