Undercover in the Police Force

"Kakashi, are you back? Come over, let's have a drink together."

With White Fang's reminder, Kazuki finally realized that Kakashi had returned.

White Fang signaled Kazuki with his eyes that Kakashi hadn't heard anything, and Kazuki relaxed.

"Senior, I'll toast you another drink."

"Kakashi, you're a man now, let me toast you too."

"Brothers together, cheers, let's celebrate…"

That night, White Fang got drunk, Kazuki got drunk, and Kakashi also got drunk.

The next day, Kazuki woke up with a heavy head.

"This morning, the clan members on patrol found you lying outside sleeping and carried you back," Fugaku said, laughing.

"Did you go to the Hatake house yesterday?"

"Nothing can be hidden from the clan leader. Yes, I went to White Fang's house yesterday."

"You tried to win him over?" Fugaku's tone had a hint of nervousness and excitement.

This guy's strength wasn't great, but he was skilled with words.

Even though White Fang was currently facing bad public opinion, his strength was undeniable; he was the strongest person in Konoha after the Hokage.

"If Kazuki could bring White Fang to our Uchiha side…"

"Leader, stop dreaming. How could White Fang possibly be loyal to us Uchihas?"

"Leader, does our police force have positions for undercover missions outside the village?" Kazuki suddenly asked.

"Are you interested in doing undercover work?" Fugaku looked at him with a smirk.

"Don't joke, leader. How could I, a mere genin, dare to go out on missions?"

Fugaku thought seriously and said, "When the police force was first established, due to the lack of personnel in the Anbu, some were drawn from the police to support them.

But perhaps the Second Hokage forgot, as those supporting members were not dismissed from their Anbu roles after completing their missions."

"So, leader, are you saying our police force still retains some Anbu functions?" Kazuki was overjoyed.

Fugaku nodded, saying, "In principle, that's true. However, no one takes this seriously; our police force is only responsible for security within the village, while the Anbu handle outside matters."

"Leader, I want one of those positions."

"This is fantastic, leader, you guessed right. I persuaded White Fang, and he agreed to take on some missions outside the village…"

Kazuki explained his plan to Fugaku in detail.

Fugaku's mouth dropped open in surprise; this sounded unbelievable.

But then he thought about it and understood. White Fang's situation spread quickly, and no one in the village's upper ranks suppressed it, which was strange if there was no hidden agenda.

"So you're saying to arrange for White Fang to fake his death, then have him go to the Find Money Organization for missions, with the rewards used in the name of Uchiha to improve the lives of Konoha's villagers…"

After considering, he marked the envelope as an S-level confidential document.

After doing all this, Fugaku looked weakly at Kazuki and said, "So, are you satisfied now? I'll file this document."

"Thank you, leader."

"Don't cause me trouble in the future; remember that?" Fugaku felt more exhausted than he ever had.

"Ding dong, congratulations, host, family prosperity increased by 5 points. Please continue your efforts."

At the Hatake house.

White Fang looked at Kakashi, seemingly wanting to imprint this face deep into his soul.

"Kakashi, when your father isn't around, you have to rely on yourself. Believe in yourself; your father will be proud of you."

"Is father going on a mission?"

White Fang patted Kakashi's little head, looking at him kindly, and didn't answer his question.

Time always passes quickly; three days later, Kazuki went to find White Fang again.

"Senior, are you ready? We're setting off today."
