a corner

in a corner I find comfort

knowing that all angles are facing me frontward

so that in this corner I can see them all coming

issue here issue there I used to keep my issues running

but not chasing me

I find comfort in this corner cause there facing me

but im not facing them

they say be peppy with your steps but you not macing them

you not paying attention to the test you just acing them

so in this corner I become uncomfy

not and aid not a paid and not a slave to this country

I think this corner is getting smaller

so small in life but I feel a lil taller

because my back isn't against the wall

now I have space to win this race to fold or to win or to fall

this corner wasn't for me so I realize there was never a corner at all
