Us (6 Years old) Part 1

After spending so many times together, Andrew and Shin becomes much closer and able to communicates through motions. Even when Shin feel unwell, Andrew sure will notice the changes and when Shin had fever, he will accompany the little one at his house after school end. It makes everyone in the house know about the existence of their young master best friend who is tall and look much more mature than his own age.

The existence of Andrew also known to Shin parent. One day when both of them still in 5 years old, Shin’s mother notice that her only son often went missing and only comes back home after dinner time. At first, she thought Shin had follow her father to the police station since both her and her husband always busy and rarely at home, but only later that she know that her son had make friend and the friend had become his most beloved friend, she only knows it when her invitation to had dinner with her son been rejected because they had promise to play together.

The changes that Shin’s mother notice had make everyone happy because Shin rarely attach to anyone includes his parent even though his mother and father often pampered him with so many things.

Mother: Shin, do you want to bring your friend here for meal? Also, why not ask him to sleep over here, so you guys can play much longer, what do you think?

Shin: !!! *with surprise face

Shin: I can bring him over? *with sparkles eyes

Mother: Of course, beside he uses to come here often right? What the matter with sleep over here. *smile beautifully

Shin: But… … I don’t know … ..whether he wanted to sleep over here? *with teary eyes

Mother: *ruffle Shin’s hair dotingly

Mother: Why don’t you ask him first? I’m sure he will be happy to spend more time playing with you.

Shin: !! *run out quickly so he can ask Andrew as soon as possible

Father: !! *why did he run away?

Later after school, both the father and mother were surprise to meet with Andrew for the very first time.

Andrew: Good evening uncle, aunty. Thank you for allowing me to sleep here with Shin. *bow down 90 degree

Father and Mother: !!!

Shin: *smile proudly

Us (6 Years old) Part 2

It finally summertime. When other kids jump happily, Shin behave in the opposite. Right now, Andrew is squatting in front of Shin trying to cox the little guys from continue crying heavily. When Shin knew that his parents would take him to oversea for holiday after their dinner, Shin was quiet and lock himself in the room.

It is not the first time Shin’s parent takes him to somewhere far to spend their summer, but it is the first time Shin will be separated from Andrew, and he don’t know what to do. He used to spend his time playing together with Andrew, no matter what he did, he will do it together with Andrew. Andrew also will share everything with him no matter what it is.

Shin thought he can ask help from Andrew, but when he tell Andrew on their lunch time, Andrew only replies with happy face and sparkle eyes saying,

Andrew: It must be fun to go there! Would you give me souvenir?

The answer makes Shin unable to hold his tear anymore. Thus, after their mealtime, Shin continues crying and won’t stop no matter what Andrew says to him. Even the teachers had giving up in coxing him, at the end, Andrew continue to accompany Shin crying at the corner’s back of their classroom.

Us (6 Years old) Part 3

As usual, Andrew will sleep over at Shin house at the weekend. After both of them tired from playing together both of them decide to stop and continue tomorrow since it already late and the clock hand show almost at 12 o’clock mid night. The lamp was turn off and after both of them brush their teeth, they lie down on the bed wanting to sleep.

The night feels chill, unable to sleep in cold, Andrew wakes up wanting to find extra blanket in the cabinet. However, after he took out the blankets, he saw a light from the torch dimly point out to the garden. Feeling suspicious, Andrew decides to go out and take a look since he knows all the maid who work in the mansion.

When he arrived at the corner of the wall before the open hall to the stairs, a sound of people collapsed to the ground can be heard since the living room was fill out with a huge carpet. Panic, Andrew peeks a little and back off quickly.

Feeling anxious, he walk quickly and quietly to the room. Shin who already fell a sleep on the bed doesn’t know what terrible thing that Andrew had saw just now. Walking to the bedside, Andrew tries waking Shin up, Shin who just fall asleep reply with his small annoyed voice.

Andrew who can’t wait any longer suddenly garb Shin and pull he up in sitting position making Shin wake up instantly. Before Shin can show his distress, Andrew covers his mouth asking Shin to not making any sound. Pulling Shin’s hand, Andrew led them to one of tunnel that often being used by them to play hide and seek. The movement was to fast make Shin puzzle even more. Shin thought Andrew have something important he need to show, but after a couple minutes of walking, Andrew still don’t stop.

At the junction, before the tunnel bring them to the basement lift, Andrew suddenly stops and hold Shin’s hand tightly. The feeling of getting chased out keep on paying inside Andrew minds. He tries to keep himself calm, but the bad memories keep on coming back which make he shudder about the existence of the memories that he thought no longer there.

Shin feel the anxious, the hand that holding up his hand keep on tightening making he afraid.

A couple of minutes after both of them settle down at the junction, a sound of breaking vase could be heard which soon followed by gunshot. Both of them startle and their face quickly turn pale.

Shin know what kind of work that his grandfather did, and as a policeman, he often need to deal with bad guys. But the things that he doesn’t understand is, why it happens inside their house? Shouldn’t their mansion fully guard? How they get in?

Us (6 Years old) Part 4

There are so many noises outside, although the tunnel being build with several layers of walls, the two boys still can hear the sound of fighting at the outside. Their mansion is big, big enough to hide so many things, just like the tunnel inside the house. There are few people who knows about the existence of the tunnel, but when there is an opening sound coming from one of the tunnel door, Andrew and Shin becomes more panic.

A 6 year old kids who grow up with a peaceful life them will never know the world of the older people. The things that they know is spending their times together playing everything they can.

Andrew pulls Shin’s hand, ordering the little one to walk quietly in front of him. With tears falling, Shin grabbing Andrew hands tighter and lessening their gaps. The tight situations make them shudder, even Andrew who had experienced getting beaten by his cousin can’t even calm his own heart from beating loudly.

When they arrived at the second junction, the sounds of fighting and gun shooting becomes even clear. At this moment, the whole scene makes Shin change drastically which also make Andrew grow up even faster. Through a small ventilation section, a young boy sees how his parents lying down with a pool of blood under them. His grandfather who injured at the leg keep on firing and loading his gun.

Since the ventilation section quite high, Andrew offers his help to push Shin up so he could see what exactly happen, so they won’t be capture by the bad guys.

However, even after Shin get down, the little one still keeps his mouth shut, and this moment was kept by Shin for a long time because he wanted to catch the bad guys who killed his parents on that night.

This also one of the reasons why he decides to build up his own empire.

Shin who always behave properly change after the funeral of his parents’ end. He no longer cheerful like before and always lock himself inside the room. The only person who can communicates with him is Andrew, and everything will be through Andrew first because Shin only listen to Andrew.
