Quite a number of events.

It's about time Blood finishes up with everything. He still has to rid the entire floor of pieces of flesh, plus I haven't made my cloak and there are a few more tests I want to do. After all, dying to the next boss would be pretty dumb, considering how much progress we've made.

Of course, disconnecting Blood from my hand would be a bit problematic, since he is rooted inside my nerve system, plus I don't want to have him sprout roots in my body again; it hurt a lot last time.

So, instead of him disconnecting, he just started sucking up all the human bits from here while attached to me. That way, I can keep working on whatever, and the flesh will just move towards my right hand like a magnet.

It's the same thing Blood has been doing by himself, the only difference being - now the flesh bits will get pulled towards my right hand instead of himself, though you could say that it's still him.

I teleported into one of the houses, where I found a pile of silk sheets. Silk isn't that strong of a material, but with the dexterity multiplier, it will be good enough. As an added bonus, silk equipment is the most comfortable, which is one of the main criteria for me.

I've also found some black dye, so it's confirmed, my cloak will be black.

Having found a needle, a whole assortment of string, and a good place to work at, I went at it with all my knowledge of sewing.

Thanks for teaching me this "useless" skill, Grandma. I didn't appreciate it enough back on earth, but she was right to teach me all of the essentials.

"Hey, Blood, wake up. Heyy." I waved him in the air.

"Yeah what is it? Why do you always do something so actively when I try to sleep, but whenever I'm awake you just sit around doing nothing?" There is a reason for that, of course.

"I wanted to keep my project a secret from you so that I can surprise you once I'm done." I've been working on two things whenever Blood was asleep.

"If you woke me up this time, I guess it means you're done?" It was a convenient time, as just yesterday the goat head finished eating all the flesh bits.

"You're damn right. I present to you, the cloak!" I put it on from the inventory.

Blood stretched out so he could look at me.

"This is my work of art. Spent a week making it. The other week was spent repairing those." And I summoned the manipulators.

"Whoa."

Blood told me the cloak was really cool, and he was also surprised I managed to get the manipulators working again.

The two weeks spent working on the manipulators and the cloak were worth it, plus I found out a cool trick to the manipulators. Their durability capacity and the maximum power they can output is limited by the dragon's crystals, so all I had to do was to find some stronger crystals.

I searched floors 6 and 7 and found crystal shards in the areas where the boss was defeated. I gathered them together and poured some mana to them, which turned them solid. All I had to do then was to break the manipulators, and quickly replace the previous crystals inside with the new ones before they auto-repaired, but with my high movement speed and agility, it wasn't hard.

Also, the knife I repaired a while ago broke when I tried to cut the wall of the floor, so I guess even that much durability and damage wasn't enough.

"But, how are you gonna use the manipulators? One of your hands is occupied with me, and I have a built-in ability to create a blade which will be much stronger than a manipulator?" It makes sense, but I think he forgot something pretty important.

"I don't need to use my hands. The manipulators can be controlled without even touching it." Thought, it does require a lot of mental capacity to do so, plus I also have to control Blood, which will put too much pressure on my mind.

That's not much as much of an issue as it may seem since I have a lot of intelligence, which, I figured out, helps with multitasking, as well as [analytic thinking]. These two things combined make it easy to use the manipulators even when I'm asleep, so I'll just let them fly behind me.

I looked in a mirror, pleased with the cape. Or is it a robe? Or a mantle? Whichever one it is, it's comfortable and also has a slick look to it.

The most important aspect of the cloak is not the look or the comfort, but the extremely high stats.

The first stat is the most impressive of all, by far.

{Protection multiplier: x13662

Now, what does this mean? Well, I damaged myself a few times with and without wearing the cloak and found out that the amount of damage I take while wearing it is reduced by X13662, so if I were to receive 1,000,000 damage, the total damage that will be dealt would be around 73.

"73 damage.. That's just ridiculously low." Even now that it's been almost a week since I made this thing, it still amazes me.

"What are you talking about?" Blood was confused about my sudden exclaim.

"Guess what the damage reduction on this cloak is? There's no way you would." I smiled.

"I don't know, X3? No, that's too much for a cloak. X2?" Blood took a guess.

"Hahahaha, boy are you wrong. It's more. A LOT MORE. Ah, what's the point in even trying, you wouldn't guess it anyway, so I'm just gonna tell you; X thirteen thousand, six hundred and sixty-six." I read the numbers slowly.

Blood looked at me with a smile, thinking that was a joke, but after looking me in the eyes, he realized I wasn't kidding.

He was shocked. Just like me when I finished making it.

Once we talked for a bit and he went back to sleep - which he started doing a lot whenever he is bored - I looked through the rest of the cloak's stats.

{Durability multiplier: x9108

The initial durability of this cloak was 600, so the total is 5,464,800. Over five million durability. Now, that already sounds like a ridiculous amount, but that's only the flat durability.

Since the damage received is reduced by X13662, that adds up to 74,660,097,600 durability. That's already stupidly high, but there is one more thing to keep in mind.

I have 2000 strength, which means the damage I take is reduced by a flat 2000, so, with a bit of math I can figure out the total amount of damage the cloak has to receive in order to at least scratch it.

The total is *drum roll*: 149,320,195,200,000. One hundred and forty-nine trillion, three hundred and twenty billion, one hundred and ninety-five million, two hundred thousand.

After doing all this math, I got a headache and went to sleep as well. It is too many numbers for me to handle, even with the assistance of 1000 intelligence.

The next morning. I ate some Cerberus' meat, and we teleported back to floor 7.

"All we have to do is go through the wormhole at the top, and the fight with the next boss will start. You ready?" I asked the goat head.

"Yep. I think we're a bit too ready for this, actually. The boss can't scale in strength that fast, whereas we just made a huge jump in total survivability and power." He's got a point.

"I almost feel bad for the boss. Oh well, here we come." I jumped into the wormhole.

Floating island! I've always wished to see one in real life, and always thought they looked super cool in videogames. It's a dream-come-true. The boss, who we've already fought twice was before us, only this time he wasn't inside a dirt golem or root golem, but it was just the sphere itself.

The sphere was about my size, and it was full of mana on the inside, made from a material that looked like glass. There was also a weird buzzing noise, that reminded me of a bee swarm. It was coming from the top. Perhaps the boss on the next floor has a buzz so loud that it can be heard through the thick layer of ground?

I realized my thought wandered off somewhere, so I focused on our objective - to destroy the sphere.

Basically, we were locked inside of a gigantic box, filled with floating islands. The islands looked like proper chunks of land, some with rivers, forests, and grass, all of them around 100 meters wide and long.

The wormhole took us to the surface of one of the islands, but I assume we're gonna need to go from one island to the other, perhaps to avoid the boss' attacks.

By the looks of things, it's gonna be a long fight. I grinned, my hands itching to test out the new equipment.

A long chapter for a happy day. Stuff’s happening.

I hope you enjoyed.
