Ascaria

When Marcus arrived at the forest, Police cars where everywhere. One Officer approached him.

''Mr Tate,'' he bowed down and started explaining as they walked.

''We found the car thirty minutes ago already opened as you can see.'' He said pointing at the car and Marcus' eyes widened. Not because of the car but because of the silvery dust that was spread all over the ground. He couldn't mistaken it. He only knew two persons who could do that. And just by seeing it, he knew where his Roxy was.

''Examining the car, it doesn't seem like she had an accident.'' He proceeded ''We could have concluded that she ran away or jumped off the cliff but we didn't find any footsteps which is weird.'' The officer continued explaining the case when Julie and Trey arrived.

Trey had the same reaction as Marcus when he saw the silvery dust and they looked at each other understanding what was going on while Julie was asking more questions to the officer.

''No footsteps and how can you explain the fact that she stepped out of the car? Or is she a bird now? Can she fly?"

''Babe calm down.'' Trey whispered and eventually she calmed down. Frustrated she left them and entered the car waiting for Trey.

Taking several steps away from the police officers, Marcus and Trey had a serious conversation.

''You saw that.'' Trey said. ''It only means one thing right?"

''Yes she is alive and in the vampire world.'' Marcus said rubbing his chin. He was now feeling a little bit more relaxed because she knew where she was. ''But I don't think she is safe.'' He said as a matter of fact.

''C'mon don't tell my aunt or cousin will possibly hurt her.'' They both knew the persons behind her disappearance it was either the Vampire queen or princess. They were the only ones who possessed silver magic. But why would they bring her there?

''I think they want us to go back to the vampire world.''

''But I can't leave Julie. Especially not now that she needs me by her side.'' Saying that, Marcus sighed realizing that they had a problem.

Trey couldn't leave right now and as of Julie, she didn't know they were vampires.

''Unless I tell her what I am?" Trey asked. It wasn't forbidden. They could reveal their identities to human if they wanted but it should be to someone trustworthy if not their memories are going to be erased.

''Tell her.'' Marcus said

''It is easier said than done. What if she distances herself from me?''

''You know she wouldn't do that.''

''Well hope so because if she does I am going to pour my anger on you.'' He said then left with Julie.

Marcus stayed a while longer, staring at the dust one more time.

''If you dare hurt her... The whole Kingdom of Ascaria will crumble down to ashes.'' Saying that, he too left.

Ascaria

Roxy smell fresh baked croissant and coffee in her sleep. She was dreaming about it and as she took a croissant, she woke up with a yelp.

''Ouch!!'' Looking at her finger with her teeth marks, she realized that she bit her finger. A giggle echoed and turning to the source, she was struck by what she saw.

A breathtakingly beautiful young lady wearing a stunning gown with silver long hair was standing there looking at her a little amused.

''I didn't know you could eat yourself.'' The young lady said and Roxy froze. This was the exact same voice from yesterday. Recalling what happened, she became scared.

''Don't worry I will not hurt you—" She said approaching her but Roxy cut her off.

''Don't come close.'' She said holding a pillow as her shield. ''Who are you?"

''Eva. Princess of Ascaria the vampire Kingdom.'' She answered quietly with a genuine angelic smile.

''Ascaria? Vampire?" She looked up at Eva who just chuckled. Even the way she stood and laughed was so gracious.

''Yes I brought you here yesterday because the human world isn't safe for you anymore. And...'' She trailed off ''Because you are a powerful being which held so much power.''

At those words, Roxy stood silent. She didn't know whether to believe her or not. A powerful being?

''Your powers are yet to awake so while staying here I will train you. Waiting for my brother to come for you so you could reunite.'' Her beautiful smile never leaving her face and something shone in her dark grey eyes but she couldn't put her finger on what it was. But she knew it wasn't evil. And that brother of hers could it be the person she thought it was? But before she could voice her question, Eva spoke interrupting her.

''You should eat now your breakfast is getting cold.'' Saying that, she raised her hand and a silvery glow appeared in her palm. Moving her fingers, the silver glitters surrounded the tray of food and lifted it up from the table and placed it on Roxy's laps gently.

''Eat then.'' Eva said then left leaving Roxy in the room.
