Chapter 112: Bungle through the Jungle

Shortly after the shuttle bus landed, we took another bus toward the branch office of Xing Hao Island's education council. Xia Xing Yue took charge, leading the way and speaking to the staff there. Most of their dialogue flew over my head, but I got the gist of it.

Xia Yuan Ba had indeed come by here, but he was no longer in the branch office. He had trekked through the forest on foot, with another group of students, to investigate the loss of communication from the villages established further down the Mystical Continent.

"What? We have to travel through the forest on foot?" One of the students from Xiao Zhang's entourage complained when Xia Xing Yue returned to brief us on our next plan of action. "Can't we just conduct an overhead search? We have helicopters and planes, don't we?"
