She had placed them on the table in front of them. The bag opened and some gold coins had spilled out Alex's eyes had turned into dollar signs looking at the amount of gold he saw. Forget about these being antiques and probably priceless. Just the value from melting them and getting gold was not calculable.

"So, can we begin."

Alex had shaken his head to clear his thoughts as he had nodded. "Yes, we can begin."

--------------------------------

Donna found herself in the third person as she watched herself being carried by an old man. She had looked at him with a little bit of distrust as he had carried a child to the what he was calling the throat of the world. Soon, her perspective changed and she found herself inside the child's body.

"Today, I speak your name girl." He had stated as he had placed her in a harness and carried her. Taking her outside. "But will the goddess speak it back."

She had felt a hint of sadness enter his voice as he had continued on. "Normally, your mother would have named you if you had one."

A worry had entered her mind. "Did her mother die."

"The whole village would attend and Matriarchs would perform the ritual." He had continued on as he carried her. "But we are outcasts, still we must keep to the tribe's ritual."

It was amazing but then suddenly she saw a something giant step in front of her. Her gaze had followed it up in amazement as she saw a giant creature made up of metal in front of her. It was bigger then the tallest mountain she had ever seen.

"Otherwise, we might become like the faithless old ones which turned their back on the Goddess."

Donna had lost herself in the moment as she saw a variety of creatures passing in front of her. Sounds of roars and such, creatures of metal that looked like deer. It was beautiful, the mixture of green and metal.

And so they had continued their journey until they had reached the peak of the world. The highest place that she could see. Their, she had seen a very ancient women. Ross had attempted to bow before her, but she had prevented him from doing such a thing. Donna had taken the opportunity to listen to the conversation once more.

"I ma the high matriarch Rost, I bless who I choose." A blue mark was placed on her head.

And so, the ceremony had taken place and she had been named Aloy. There was a smile on her face and she had felt giddy. That was until another old lady had come and yelled at her, and then at Rost for naming her.

She had told him that they had never told him to love her. Aloy/Donna had felt a rage inside her heart. That was until Rost had looked down at her and reassured her. "I know my duty to them and to you. I am here and wherever you go."

And so time passed and Aloy had grown up. She remembered everything as she had always wanted more. In a strange way, she had always craved acceptance. Shad had at one point given up on it as she had been stoned by a few other children. She had picked it up in anger and had thrown it back at them.

And so she had continued exploring the world. The region where she could go as a child and the like. Those that were safe for her.

It was not until she had stumbled down into one of the old ruins that she realized that things were not as simple as they seemed. While the rest of the amazonians watching the screen could not realize what it was. Diana had realized that she was in a lab. One that was overgrown. Aloy had found a focus and began to further explore the world and what she found had horrified her. It was the world of men something had happened. Something had destoryed the world and what she was hearing was an indication of the destruction of the world. She had still lacked context and that was true for all the amazonians. They had ordered food and were eating it. Watching the story unfold. Only 2 to 3 hours had passed for them but they had realized what they were hearing was the end of the world. An apocalyptic event had happened.

That was except for Diana. She had recognized many terms and a horrible picture was starting to be painted inside her head. She was coming to a very un easy conclusion. But for the moment, she had held her tongue. Wanting to see the story unfold to confirm her suspicion.

They had seen Donna go on her first trip with Rost. The first kill and how the world worked. And why she had been hated, and the event which led the village people to stone her. They all had watched the story continue. Aloy had grown and she had gone on the hunt. She had started to kill a few of her own machine.

This could be the training ground for them. Hippolyta had thought to herself. A way for them to sharpen their skills and not let atrophy take them.

And so the story had continued and so the time came for Aloy to prove herself and end her exile. They had straightened up and continued to watch. Outsiders had come to parley. They came to know about the events of a war fought between the tribes, about how the carja had invaded the Nora lands and what it had resulted into.

And so the competition began and they had cheered as they had seen on of their sisters take the lead. That was until she was sabotaged. But still, she had taken another route, a more difficult path. It was hard, the path was crumbling and she had a few close calls. But still she had succeeded and managed to reach the end. Planting the trophy in front of her, she had become the champion.

A cheer had gone through the Tavern as even more amazonians were present there now. They had ignored the presence of Alex as they had been seeing something thrilling. There were whispers among themselves.

"Is that Donna."

"Yeah."

"So, we can fight like this as well. Live another life."

Alex was busy, still serving burgers. His points going up and getting even more out of debt slowly and slowly.

That was until they were ambushed. Donna had seen as more of the people around her started to die. She had gathered her strength and started a counter attack. Soon, there was a machine gun with in her hands. She had taken down scores of people in front of her.

And so they had won, that was until she had seen the presence of another focus. She had seen some of the people from outside the village also have the same focus. She had tried questioning them but.... . Suddenly, she had been attacked and held over the cliff edge. That was until Rost had interfered and managed to stop her death. She survived but was almost on the brink of fainting.

A barrel was lit up and she had seen through the corner of her eyes as it was set to detonate. Rost had crawled to her and had said one word to her. "Survive." as he had pushed her off the mountain. Rolling her off to safety. She had seen the explosion and saw Rost die. Helpless to do anything. She had been assaulted by grief as she was falling. Were man truly as bad as she had been taught, a desire to explore the outside world filled her heart. Rost had been a father to her. Raising her with love.

The mode inside the Tavern was also complicated. "Good men don't last long in the outside world." Hippolyta was looking with worry at her son who was serving in the tavern. Would she accept losing him like that. Similar to her, all the amazonians were in deep thought as well. Donna's simulation had ended. She had spent the maximum amount of time that she could.

A wonder lust had taken her and she wanted to take Alex and explore the world. See if it is truly as bad as her sisters had been telling her. She had been raised by Rost and had realized that things were more complicated then what she had been taught. There were some good men as well.

Diana was looking down, her fists clenched.

Derion was quite but her surroundings were cackling in red energy.

Nubia eyes were glowing and she was smelling of ozone.

Artemis was slowly turning green with rage.

His death had somehow effected them all personally. They had seen a loving father die. Even for a little bit, it had managed to change their perspective.
