Lucian woke up to his father storming into his room, his face red with concern and disappointment, while his voice thundered above every other in the castle.
Slowly he rose from the bed, unsure of what to make of the entire situation.
"What is it? Why are you disturbing me so early in the morning?" Lucian asked lazily as he climbed down from his bed. Wallace on the other hand didn't respond, he rushed straight to his son searching every bit of his body for scars or any injury.
"What on earth were you thinking, going out to such a dangerous place?"
Those words were enough for Lucian to realize what his father was talking about. Someone had clearly told him something about their visit to Beggar's Row, and he had a bright idea on who it could have been.
"I'm fine, nothing happened—"
