Made His Choice
The journey back to the castle was a hectic one for Simon. The horse he had stolen was barely tamed, and it wouldn't stop running off course every once in a while. He was already struggling with staying on the animal, and now it was acting like a wild one.
He managed to arrive, right before the sun had the chance to completely disappear over the horizon. When he arrived at the castle, there wasn't much of a celebration, and while he could see the banners of a few noble houses, it didn't especially look like there was a party going on. However, that did not stop Simon from sneaking past the guards and making it inside.
He could walk in without having to be discreet, but he didn't trust the guards to not take him under custody, he was still wanted after all.
